Suitable for the Webasto and Eberspächer D2 parking heater.While an air heater is normally only suitable for installation in thin sheet metal walls or floors, with this flange an insulated floor construction with a wooden panel or directly a sandwich panel up to 48 mm thick can also be used. There is no need to scribe and drill the many different holes for combustion air, flue gas, fuel line and fixings - these are already integrated in the flange and allow the heater to be mounted directly in any direction. Only a rectangular cut-out of approx. 88x130 mm is required.Procedure:    Find a suitable flat installation location with max. 48 mm total thickness (e.g. floor panel+insulation+wood panel).    Cut a rectangular cut-out 88x130 mm.    Insert the installation flange with sealing compound and screw it in place.    Insert the heater from the inside into the flange and mount all hoses etc. from the outside.Stainless steel, laser-cut, welded, partially glass-bead blasted.Suitable for AUTOTERM air heaters (=Planar) 2D, 4D and 44D, as well as heaters with the same flange pattern from Eberspächer and possibly Webasto.

Planar 2D Auxiliary Vehicle Heater We offer the Planar 2D auxiliary vehicle heater as a well-priced, powerful alternative to our Webasto auxiliary vehicle heater kits. With their compact size and a heater output of 1.8 kW, the Planar 2D is well-suited for fitting to smaller vehicles, vans, off-roaders, camper vans, boats or in confined spaces. This reduces or prevents shooting of the combustion chamber when the atmospheric oxygen content drops. The max. Heating power drops in proportion to the amount of oxygen in the air. Roughly one can say: From 2.000 meters the loss of power per 500 m height is approx. 5%. Manufacturer tests up to 3.440 m were no problem. No difficulties are to be expected up to 4.000 m. The software itself calculates up to 5.000 m - however, this has not yet been tested in real height. The separately available control unit with timer (optional extra) features a larger OLED display and more intuitive operation. Temperature, ventilation and output can be configured via a display and various switches. An added timer clock allows you to set the heater to a specific time.
