Outdoor Shower Tube with Spiral Hose The dust is settling, the light is fading. The hot Diesel engine is happily ticking away as it’s cooling down and all the chores are done. The awning is up, seats and tables unfolded and even the roof tent is ready. That’s the moment when you realize how sweaty and sticky you are from a long day behind the wheel. A kingdom for a shower, in the middle of nowhere! No worries, we’ve been on the case and this is what we‘ve come up with: A mounted shower unit for overlanders, campers and adventurers. Nakatanenga shower tubes are attached to the side of a CargoBear or any other roof rack. You fill it with the amount of water you need, pressurize the tank with air to guarantee consistent water flow and off you go. During the day, the tube’s black PE material provides free solar off-grid heating for the water, no energy input required, no CO2 emissions. Isn’t that just great at the end of a tough day? The shower tubes come in three sizes – 1,240, 2,100 und 2,750 mm – respectively giving you volumes of 9.4, 17.5 and 23.7 l. We deliver the tubes with CargoBear mounting brackets, tap, handheld shower head and spiral hose pipe. You can attach your own accessories to the ½” connector, of course. The shower tubes is a really neat solution for all your muddy outdoor hobbies, too. How often have you wished you could just quickly hose down clothes, boots, sports equipment or pets before getting into the 4x4 or loading it up? We know. Since the tubes are not equipped with safety valves, we recommend using regular bicycle hand or foot pumps to pressurize them. Manually created pressure will be perfectly sufficient to create a constant flow of water. Brackets for other roof racks than the CargoBear have to be ordered separately. Transport bikes safely with Dixon-Bate: the right adapter Whoever has tried to attach a bike rack to the hitch of their Defender knows this problem: the spare tire is in the way! This is where this adapter comes in. It attaches to the usual Dixon-Bate rail and thus moves the mounting spot about 30 cm further back, clearing most spare tires. Contents of shipment: Adapter for Dixon-Bate (30 cm) 1x Ball head for mounting the rack or tub 1x safety pin for the hitch hardware Two safety pins are required for the correct instalment of this adapter, one comes with the hitch itself and the other with this adapter. Should your Hitch not have shipped with such a pin, you can order one here. The Adapter can for technical reasons NOT be used for regular towing! It can only be used for bike racks, game tubs and similar carrying systems.

Nakatanenga adapter for hitch-mounted racks for bikes and other sports gear Hitch-mounted racks for bikes and other sports gear are a great solution if the bikes are only used occasionally or taken along on an annual holiday trip. No cumbersome attachment to roof rails or the rear of the vehicle is needed: simply mount the rack on the vehicle’s tow ball and off you go. So much for the theory, because for many 4x4 owners, the rear-mounted spare wheel is usually in the way of a conventional hitch-mounted bike rack. But that’s where Nakatanenga comes in. Our premium quick-release adapter mounts securely and lockably onto the existing tow ball and extends the coupling point by 25 cm. In most cases, this provides enough clearance for a bike rack to fit behind the rear-mounted spare wheel. It is advisable to take careful measurements before ordering to make sure that the 25 cm extension is sufficient for the individual vehicle and wheel/tyre combination. Please also note that the lockable quick-release handle on the right-hand side requires sufficient space. The existing tow hitch must therefore be fully accessible and must not be restricted by recessed bumpers or similar vehicle components. With a maximum load of 120 kg, the adapter is ideal for standard bike racks, cargo carriers, tubs, baskets and similar carrier systems. Since there are occasional questions regarding the maximum load, we would like to emphasise – as the manufacturer – that the specified maximum load of 120 kg applies to the complete adapter assembly and has been determined in extensive load and safety testing. Any differing load ratings for separately available individual components are therefore not relevant to the permitted load of the complete adapter assembly. Please check the applicable road traffic regulations and legal requirements for the respective country when using the adapter. CAUTION!For technical and legal reasons, the adapter MUST NOT be used for towing a trailer. The coupling point is extended by 25 cm.

We all know the rubber cords used on bike racks to carry stuff. Rusty hooks, worn by sunlight and rain, dangerous handling and not really up to the job anyway - definitely unsuited for tie-down of cargo in a 4x4. It is nevertheless generally suitable for use in dusty or sandy environments, provided that the compressor is positioned in a location that minimises exposure to dust. To reduce the intake of dust and fine particles, the compressor should not be operated or placed directly on the ground under such conditions. An elevated and preferably protected position is recommended, for example inside the vehicle, on the load area or on another surface away from dust and sand.
