Description: Series IIA & III, 11" front brake kit (4 cylinder to 83) from LOF Brakes.2 important things have been corrected in the kit:Drum runout accuracy - LOF has managed to produce the 11" drums to a maximum tolerance of 40 microns runout and 50 microns out of roundness, which is tighter than any other brake drum manufacturer.The shape and precision of the brake shoes are matched to the drums and the brake compound is designed to prevent squeaking and juddering! All vehicle owners will know what is meant! They have also fitted the brake shoes with a solid, correctly shaped rivet to hold the spring in place. You will know that cheaper brands have a straight cut rivet that tends to fall out! Notes on Defender brake parts:all brake pads offered for the Defender have an R90 designation and are therefore registration free.Brake discs are also registration-free, as only vehicles homologated from 2016 onwards require brake discs with an R90 designation.
