The perfectly fitting and extremely robust wind deflectors from ClimAir Off-road vehicles are not designed for aerodynamically perfect airflow. So far, so obvious and normally it doesn’t matter anyway because in a 4x4 you’re unlikely to reach the speeds where it becomes problematic. But there is one aspect where the rustic box shape of Jimny 2 does show the effects of aerodynamic neglect and that’s the nearly rectangular shape and the straight and vertical positioning of the windows. There’s more than one reason in a 4x4 to crack your windows a little, whether you’re off-roading or it’s cold and wet. Your classic Jimny windows for instance are misting up because the ventilation famously isn’t up to the job of defogging them. And that’s when you see the effect we’ve talked about in the beginning. The drag around the cracked windows is not only loud, it also pulls more dust and water inwards and that’s pretty annoying, even for hardcore off-roaders. Wind deflectors by ClimAir for Jimny 2, offer the perfect solution. Even if cargo space has grown considerably in comparison with the previous model, optimizing your usable load capacity is still crucial if you want to get the most out of this little giant. Considering the limited interior that means first and foremost to use the roof space to the full extent: either with our own dedicated CargoBear system for the Jimny or any other conventional roof rails, bars or racks. Whatever solution you prefer, our light and strong aluminum ladder makes accessing the roof area a lot easier. Climbing to the rooftop is safer, more comfortable and allows for stress-free loading, fastening or strapping down of your cargo. The ladder is mounted on the tailgate only and has no connection with the roof or the rack, making it ideal for all kinds of carrier systems. Additionally, there is no need to drill holes either as the ladder is custom-designed to fit existing mounting points and screw holes: on the spare wheel mount, the tailgate’s drip rail and the bottom right door hinge. This also allows for quick and easy de-installation without damage or marks. One of the best moments when car camping or attending a 4x4 meeting is when you unfold your side awning from the roof rack. It means you’ve arrived and all the enjoyment is ahead of you. Sheltered by the tarp, you can rest easy in your camping chair, put your feet up and think about the things to come over a coffee or a cold one. Since there is now a CargoBear for the Jimny II, you can also mount a variety of car awnings on it. Our mounting brackets are made from black powder-coated stainless steel and are fixed to the lateral incline of at least two CargoBear cross bars. They fit amongst others the RoofLodge Awning, RhinoRack Foxwing and RhinoRack SunSeeker. All fixing materials to the roof rack are included.
