We have packed even more technology, even more experience and even more customer feedback into our new mobile heating boxes. If you are looking for a small, self-sufficient and portable heat source with unrivaled capacity for cold days and nights in unheated outdoor shelters or temporary accommodation, you get everything you need (or want) in a small, weatherproof aluminum box. Available in three modular versions with different configurations, the Nakatanenga heating box provides the perfect, independent heat source for tents, gazebos, garden sheds, mountain huts, snack stands, stalls and much more. The heart of the mobile parking heater is the Autoterm Luft 2D, a diesel-powered air heater with a maximum heat output of 1.8 kW and a diesel consumption of just under a quarter of a liter per hour at full power. With a tank capacity of 18 liters in the twin-tank version, this means that it can heat at full throttle for over 70 hours. The economical unit, which is also very quiet at 55 dB thanks to the exhaust silencer, is controlled by a digital control unit with timer in the version with two batteries and can also be switched on and off by radio remote control. This allows you to preheat your camper, roof tent, caravan or hunting lodge in good time for getting up or for the evening, for example, and operate it from the place where you are staying or sleeping inside*. In contrast to the previous models, the three versions of our mobile parking heater are now only available in one box size, namely 42 liters. This is significantly more compact than the old version in the large version and only slightly more voluminous than the small model from before. What is the advantage? The new universal crate has a modular interior with a powerful performance. Depending on whether you need tanks, batteries or both in the box, you can choose the appropriate version when purchasing: with 9.2 L single or 18.4 L double tank, each without battery, as well as with single tank, two batteries and digital control. However, it can also be easily retrofitted or converted if requirements change. As the warm air hose is different for every user and every requirement, we do not include a standard length, but leave it up to you to order the desired length separately here in the store, with or without a silicone sleeve. Regardless of the configuration, the mobile parking heaters are always easy to transport and make the difference between experiencing and suffering in the cold seasons. Whether it's an aurora safari, selling cookies at the Christmas market or winter camping in a roof tent, nothing is really fun if you freeze to death. *ATTENTION: As a precaution, we would like to point out that operation in closed rooms is not permitted due to the risk of poisoning from exhaust fumes. In addition, for optimum heating performance, make sure that the air inlets for combustion and hot air are positioned so that they are protected from the weather. In contrast to conventional lead-acid AGM technology, lithium batteries combine superior charging properties with much lower weight and volume and a long service life. LiFePo4 batteries can be deep-discharged without any problems, which sooner or later leads to irreparable damage with AGM batteries, as the rule of thumb here is that you should never draw more than 50% charge. If you are not dependent on the greater cold tolerance of AGM batteries, you should definitely consider the higher costs for LiFePo4 batteries and compatible charging technology. The weight and space savings, the long service life and the uncomplicated discharging and charging of the battery are strong arguments in favor of the investment. What's more, LiFePo4 technology is also extremely safe And a special note on aluminum: Although we take the utmost care during storage and shipping, as with all our products, aluminum boxes can always show minimal scratches, stains, dents or other surface features upon delivery. These are material-related and result from the specific properties of the light metal.  In contact with oxygen, aluminum forms a natural, corrosion-protecting patina and is also relatively soft compared to steel, which is three times heavier. This makes the material ideal for use in sheet metal, especially when weight and resistance are important. On the other hand, however, it also means that aluminum can never be completely free of patina or other marks, even on delivery: Small scratches, stains etc. therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint. Ultimately, aluminum boxes are intended to be robust objects of daily use. Like everything that is actively used, they develop an individual patina and every trace of use tells a story. So, have fun with it! This means that the heater automatically reduces the injection volume according to the ambient air pressure. This reduces or prevents sooting of the combustion chamber when the air oxygen content falls. The maximum heat output decreases in proportion to the amount of oxygen in the air. Roughly speaking, from 2000 meters upwards, the loss of output per 500m altitude is approx. 5%. Manufacturer tests up to 3440m were problem-free. No problems are to be expected up to 4000m. Up to 5000m the software calculates itself - but this could not yet be tested at real altitude. Hot water - Always and everywhere At home, you have warm water coming out of your taps, just like that. That’s why armchair travelers never really appreciate what a precious commodity that is. But if you spend enough time on the road or in nature – be it in a camper van, on a boat, in a food truck or a market stall – you will know what a truly great thing water is when it flows clean and warm wherever and whenever you need it. If you already have a diesel heater installed in your vehicle, boat or trailer – by AUTOTERM or an equivalent – you can easily upgrade to a warm water system. Pundmann have designed their mobile water heaters, the 6-liter Therm 6AIR and the 9 liter Therm 9AIR, specifically for AUTOTERM diesel heaters. Accordingly, installation is completely hassle-free. If you have a 230V power outlet available, you can run the water heater with the inbuilt 500W heating element. Whenever there is no electricity nearby, simply let your Autoterm (or equivalent) do the job of heating your water. It will take 50 minutes for the smaller 6-liter tank and 60 minutes for the larger tank. Operating pressure is at 1.5 bar/21.75 psi with a security valve limiting pressure to 2.2 bar/31.9 psi. Dimensions of 200 x 228 x 360 (6 l) or 200 x 228 x 520 (9 l) mm, respectively, make the tanks small enough to fit even in tight spaces. Hose bag for perfect storage If you’re travelling a lot with gear and equipment, whether it’s camping, expeditions or simply for your business or job, you just know how quickly things deteriorate when your stuff doesn’t have its proper place. That’s why our mobile Diesel heaters are so great. Everything you need in one box! With one exception, though: the WALUFLEX pipe for warm air transport from the heater is too big for that. But that doesn’t mean you have to pack the tubing in plastic bags or carry it as it is. Our textile workshop has now come up with a dedicated storage bag with carrying straps especially for the WALUFLEX pipe. Made from robust and easy-to-clean 1000D Nylon material, the pack bag stores and protects the warm air tube. Moreover, it also saves a lot of valuable pack space. Tubes of up to 3 m length can be secured in the bag with two separate straps. Zip it up, job done! By the way, we have also sewn a patch of MOLLE fleece onto the front of the bag. That makes it very easy to identify the WALUFLEX bag with badges, labels etc. Ready to go!  You can order the carrying bag by itself or including a WALUFLEX tube (3 m) with end collars.

End piece for warm air hose WALUFLEX Our 60 mm Flexi pipes for parking heaters are the perfect solution for transporting warmth and cosiness from A to B, whereby B can be one of our roof tents, a cold mountain hut or whatever else needs to be heated off-grid. The warm air pipes can be cut to any length and to ensure that the pipe ends are cleanly sealed or can be easily and airtightly extended, we have a silicone adapter for easy ratcheting. The adapter is the icing on the cake for our hot air ducts. It might work without, but it's definitely better with. For one thing, it is safer for people, equipment or cars because the edges, fringes and wire ends of the cut pipe disappear under the silicone cover and therefore have no chance of scratching, pricking or tearing. It is also very practical: one end of the silicone adapter is semi-permanently attached to the cut-off pipe with one of the cable ties supplied. The other end of the adapter can then be tightened to a connection or extension as required using the ratchet clamp (ideal for our parking heaters). Without the ratchet, the silicone adapter, which only makes the pipe 5 mm thicker, is a perfect and aesthetically pleasing end sleeve. After all, the eye camps with you and who wants to look at fraying pipe ends.
