Coupling rod/ Rods for height adjustment Installing lift kits for 4x4’s usually requires complex (and expensive) modifications. Not so if your vehicle comes with a self-regulating air suspension, like the New Defender. Raising the ride height of the New Landy by 1 or 1,6 inches takes very little in terms of effort or budget. The principle is very simple and has been employed with Discovery 5 and Range Rover Sport models for quite some time. Simply replace the original rods on all four wheel suspensions with our replacements. The new rod’s different dimensions will trick the self-regulating suspension to permanently lift the ride by 1” or 1,6”, respectively, in all drive modes. Once the new lift rods are installed, the vehicle’s sensor system will adjust itself automatically to the new ride height after the first restarting of your car. Resetting the ride to original factory settings is just as easy and only a question of minutes. We produce these 1“ and 1,6“ lift rods for the New Defender in our own workshop. The rods are laser machined from extremely robust high-quality plastics and the bushings are created in an additive process. This makes both components highly resistant to degradation by weather or chemicals, like fuel, oils etc. The custom-designed bushings are flexible and extend to both sides of the rods’ connections. In terms of quality, this is a far superior solution over many other products on the market, specifically aluminum rods with cheap off-the-shelf cable grommets. Available as +1“ or + 1,6“. Side Box for Land Rover New Defender from BJ 2020 With off-road vehicles like the New Defender, exterior cargo space is a great idea. After all, there are many pieces of gear and equipment that need to be quickly accessible but shouldn’t be kept on the inside, because they are either too filthy or they smell of gas, Diesel or other automotive chemicals. A perfect storage place for these things is our side-mounted storage box for the New Landy’s right side.* The side-mounted storage box is made from Plastic and offers a hefty 24 l of volume. It is mounted on the standard roof rail or on our CargoBear roof rack – adapters are included. Its size and the maximum load of 17 kg allow for a huge amount of equipment that can be stored here. Inside the box, there’s a built-in storage mesh for more safety and tidiness. The carrier can be locked and is also watertight, of course. For easier cleaning, there is a plughole with a rubber stopper in the bottom. The side-mounted cargo carrier is designed for maximum aerodynamics and the reduction of wind noise. Its color black compliments every New Defender and if you want to take customization even further, depressions on the lid are the perfect spot to attach one of our Land Rover logos. Secure grip on the loading sill – perfectly tailored for the Land Rover New Defender This upgrade for the Land Rover New Defender (L663, from MY2020) is so discreet,  it’s barely noticeable at all.
