With the exception of the battery, everything you, your family or your crew need for a warm and cozy outdoor feeling in your car, camper or roof tent is in the ultra-robust, waterproof 29L box. At its heart is the affordable and powerful AUTOTERM (Planar) 2D12 air heater, which can be powered from the vehicle battery via the cigarette lighter adapter. It is controlled via the PU5 control element. A 5.4 l fuel tank is already integrated in the box. This makes our mini heater ideal for on the road and mobile use on the vehicle or wherever a weatherproof cable connection to a car battery can be established. The warm air is transported into the room to be heated via a firmly screw-fastened, waterproof Flexi hose, which can be ordered separately in the desired length here in the store. This means that the heater automatically reduces the injection volume according to the ambient air pressure. This reduces or prevents sooting of the combustion chamber when the air oxygen content falls. The maximum heat output decreases in proportion to the amount of oxygen in the air. Roughly speaking, from 2000 meters upwards, the loss of output per 500m altitude is approx. 5%. Manufacturer tests up to 3440m were problem-free. No problems are to be expected up to 4000m. Up to 5000m the software calculates itself - but this could not yet be tested at real altitude.
