the factory backing film is removed and the widening can be securely bonded to the clean surface/web edge
for difficult off-road applications, additional fixing of the widening with screws is recommended
the widening is 51 millimeters wide in total - of which approx. 16 millimeters are used for mounting and approx. 35 millimeters then protrude outwards to cover the tires

ATTENTION - important installation instructions:
the mounting surface must be smooth, rust-free, thoroughly cleaned and free of grease
the outside temperature and the temperature of the components or mounting surface at the time of installation and for 24 hours afterwards must be at least 20° Celsius
the widener must be pressed evenly against the mounting surface with high pressure for approx. 1 minute after removing the 3M tape carrier film
adjust the ends of the widening to your taste with a sharp carpet knife to match the look of the vehicle
please allow the vehicle to stand for at least 24 hours after installation, preferably 48 hours
the final strength of the bonding is only achieved after 48 hours
Please do not wash the vehicle for at least 48 hours
in some installation situations, especially if the installation instructions cannot be followed, additional fastening with e.g. self-tapping screws, body adhesive, primer is recommended (fixing screws are included in the scope of delivery)
