Battery box with various connections, AGM or LiFePo battery In the 21st Century modern technology is everywhere, even off-road and off the grid, but more often than not there is no power when you're out and about on some trail in some country. One option is the classic cigarret-lighter as a power source, but in using this frequently you risk decharging your battery to a point where it won't start your car anymore. Another option would be a generator, but those are loud, impractical and noisy. To solve this probem highly portable powerbanks were invented, but for a multiple day long trip a small powerbank just won't cut it.So, what if you had a lagre but portable power bank? One you could simply charge, even off the grid, maybe with a solar panel? And one that is heavy dut enough to endure week long trips and years of use ? Hold on, that's exactly what we did! This compact, but long-lasting Powerstation (33Ah / 35Ah) offers a cigaret lighter-output and two USB-ports (Typ A: QC3.0-Port - Typ C: QC4.0-Port, in a roubust shell. It can simply be charged using our solar panels by Optimate.LiFePo4 batteries – with their lithium iron phosphate cathode material – are perfect for running your camping or work utilities on the road, especially in conjunction with our mobile battery boxes. Unlike your conventional AGM lead-acid technology, the lithium battery combines vastly superior charging/discharging qualities with extremely low weight and small volume, respectively, and a long service life. LiFePo4 batteries tolerate deep discharging without problems, unlike AGM batteries which will suffer irreparable damage when repeatedly discharged beyond 50%. Unless you require the greater tolerance for extreme cold in AGM’s, you should definitely consider the higher initial costs of LiFePo4 batteries and compatible chargers. Enormous weight and space reductions, the long life-cycle and the hassle-free charging and discharging of the battery are strong arguments for the investment. And last but not least: LiFePo4-technology is extremely safe. • robust shell• portable design• comfortable handle• 33 Ah (396Wh) AGM brand battery / 35 Ah LiFePo battery• 20 A car-fuse• 2x USB-plug (Typ A: QC3.0-Port - Typ C: QC4.0-Port)• 1x cigaret-lighter (out)• 1x SAE junction box for charger (charger not included) (in)• 1x On-/Off-switch • simply plug in and off you go Please note the legal information on batteries HERE. Full Control Over Your On-Board Voltage: The Nakatanenga Panel-Mount Voltmeter with Capacity Display!
You're on tour, far from the nearest power outlet, and your electrical consumers like the cooler, auxiliary heater, or additional lighting are running at full blast. But how much longer will your battery last? A simple voltage display often gives an inaccurate picture and can be deceptive, especially when high currents are flowing or the battery is a bit older.
With our compact panel-mount voltmeter including a percentage capacity display, you'll always have a precise and understandable overview of the state of charge of your starter or leisure battery(s)! This small but extremely useful instrument is a must-have for anyone who relies on a dependable power supply in their vehicle.
Why this combination instrument is a gamechanger for you:
- No more nasty surprises: Recognize early on when your battery is running low. The intuitive percentage display of the remaining capacity is significantly more meaningful than a simple voltage reading and helps you avoid nasty surprises like an engine that won't start or a cooler that has switched off.
- Protect your valuable batteries: Deep discharges are a death sentence for many battery types! With the capacity display, you'll see in time when things are getting critical and can take action (e.g., start the engine, check solar input, reduce consumers) to protect your batteries and maximize their lifespan.
- Plan your energy consumption cleverly: See at a glance how much "juice" you really have left. This allows you to make informed decisions about whether the night lighting can stay on for another hour or if it's time to switch off energy-intensive devices.
- Compact and discreetly integrable: Thanks to its small installation dimensions (Ø 37 mm and installation depth 17 mm), this useful instrument finds a suitable place in almost any dashboard, center console, or custom-built panel.
- Clear and distinct display: The digits are designed to be easily readable even in varying light conditions, so you can quickly grasp the important information. The state of charge can be effortlessly read even in darkness or in deeply installed locations thanks to the large red illuminated display.
- Universally applicable: Ideal for your off-road vehicle, camper, expedition mobile, boat, or any other application where you want to reliably monitor the condition of batteries between 5 and 48V. The touch button switches the waterproof and reverse polarity protected device on or off and also toggles between the voltage display and capacity in percent functions.
Simple installation for lasting benefit:
This instrument is designed for fixed installation into your on-board electrical system. Connection is generally straightforward for anyone with basic electrical knowledge. (When in doubt, we always recommend having the installation carried out by a specialist workshop).
Maintain full control over your on-board energy supply! With the Nakatanenga Voltmeter with Capacity Display, you are always well-informed and secure your independence on trips. A small component with great benefit that should not be missing in any well-equipped vehicle!
By the way: We also install this LED voltmeter in our battery boxes.
