Aluminum cases Pro There are many aluminum cases, but just one “Alubox”. The Wiberg family’s business on Zealand in Denmark has been supplying the Danish military, various rescue services, international expeditions and the off-road community since 1999 with tough, handmade transport cases made from aluminum alloy AW-5754. As you would expect from real Vikings, Danish Aluboxes are seawater resistant. In addition, they can be padlocked, are dust-proof and highly resistant to corrosion and chemicals. The Wibergs’ experience and their commitment to continuously improve the Aluboxes show in the details: extra-robust and impact-proof stacking corners provide tight connections when you put several boxes on top of each other. Spring handles retract, so they’re never sticking out as dangerous obstacles‚ causing damages or injuries. Aluboxes are now made with solid rivets for even greater robustness and durability, even in extreme conditions. The new transport box for the 30-second touring tents by OZtents was developed by Soren Wiberg, who is a big fan of Land Rovers and camping. That’s why he saw right away that the somewhat flimsy OZtent carry bag needs to be improved upon. With packing dimensions of roughly 2 m, OZtents are usually too long to be stowed inside smaller 4x4s. The new Alubox measures 2130 x 510 x 220 mm, making it the ideal storage space for OZtent models RV1, RV2, RV3, RV4 und RV5. The transport case is designed for roof racks, like our very own CargoBear. And if you can fit a tent in your Alubox, you can also fit many other long and unwieldy pieces of equipment: shovels, sand ladders, snow chains and everything else that’s needed on expeditions and camping trips. One more thing: The Wiberg Vikings’ Alubox slogan is “Battered, beaten and still going strong.“  And that’s how we see it, too, when it comes to aluminum cases. The flip side of these properties, though, means that aluminum can never be entirely free of scratches, blemishes etc. This is why these surface marks do not constitute grounds for customer complaints. Subdivision system / protective foam for aluminium box  Nothing beats aluminum boxes, especially the ones by Danish outfitter Alubox.com, when it comes to transporting or storing gear and equipment. They are light, sturdy and resistant to corrosion, chemicals and many other environmental influences. How can you improve an aluminum box? By adding an interior structure for more organization and safety. That’s why Alubox.com have come up with their RuumX solution, a customizable system of padded layers walls, dividers and protective “egg crate” foam.  Whether it’s dishes, tools or electronic equipment, the protective divider system makes transport and storage in aluminum boxes significantly safer and more organized. RuumX also allows for very specific customization. The set consists of two self-adhesive foam-pads for the bottom and the inside of the lid, two perfectly fitting side wall elements with rounded corners as well as five dividers, which can be cut to the desired lengths. All walls and dividers are made from corrugated plastic panels with foam layers on both sides. These sandwich panels are lightweight yet extremely robust. The cells or slots in the panels are also used to firmly attach different elements to each other, using the steel pins included in the delivery. RuumX kits come in two varieties, differing only in the height of walls and dividers. The lower version has a height of 14.5 cm and fits the Aluboxes A042 and S060, the higher one can be used for both S060 and A073 and has a height of 19.5 cm. Fastening set for AluBoxes on Nakatanenga CargoBear 1.0 and 2.0 Probably the easiest and safest way to mount an AluBox on CargoBear 1 or 2: Our customised fastening solution consists of 4 brackets that screw the box base firmly to the roof rack from the inside. This not only serves to secure the box for transport, but also prevents it from being quickly stolen on the road when it is locked. Mounting the brackets is child's play. Seat cover for aluminum boxes Wherever space is at a premium, benches and seats have to double up as storage, be it on boats, in camper vans or tiny houses. Why not turn this principle on its head then and convert storage space into comfortable seating? Especially when we are talking about ubiquitous items like transport boxes? Our neat and snug seat cushions make even boring aluminum cases “hugge” and that’s Danish for comfy. Danish-inspired simplicity also marks out the design of our outdoor cushion: puristic, functional and in a stylish graphite grey, it perfectly matches the aluminum box. The cushion’s dimensions of 56x36x4 cm precisely fit standardized transport boxes of this particular footprint, as for example with our own ABP-S060 or ABP-A042. The nylon PU coated cover can be removed and washed separately.
