The six solid spokes immediately emphasize what the TX-1 is all about and what off-roaders and overlanders want to have above all: performance. The rims are highly robust, easy to clean and therefore extremely durable. And that leads us to the next point: unfortunately, the TX-1 has been discontinued quite a while ago but if you’ve still mounted a set on your Defender, you’re most likely to hold on tight to your reliable mates from Down Under. Since the original wheel nuts were not as tough as the rims themselves though, we are now offering high-quality replacements, single or in sets of 5. The wheel nuts are made from performance steel and are surface treated by an expert shop with double Zintek 300B and Zintek Top and then passivated with Techseal Black SL2.

Fender box for Land Rover Defender, selectable right or left Defenders draw their air for the heater on the passenger side and since there is no doubling up for pesky details like right and left hand drive at Land Rover, the fenders are the same for both sides with a plastic dummy vent for the unused intake. But that’s a good thing, because if you are into tinkering, optimizing and upgrading, you will find a neat pre-cut body opening to hold additional waterproof storage or functional space irresistible. Mounting our lockable black fender box is as easy as it gets. It will take you under 5 minutes to unscrew the old cover and replace it with our locker by fastening it to the existing screw holes. If all you need is some exterior space for oily rags or gloves, that’s your job done right there. If you are feeling more ambitious, you might want to install electric sockets, pneumatic connectors or a kill-switch for your winch for instance. In that case, you will appreciate the fact that the floor of the box is loose to make these jobs that much easier. The hinge was rolled onto the sheet metal with a special tool and connected with a 4mm stainless steel pin. That’s why we are introducing our own hanging wash bag with the bear logo on it, for travel, outdoor and camping. Everything else out there hasn’t really done it for us, so we made some key improvements to the most important details and put them all in one cool roll! Advantage #1 for our Nakatanenga toiletry bag: lots of mesh! We’re using great amounts of mesh material especially in the interior zip bag area, so that the wash roll can dry off quickly after you’ve been to a tiny wet room. If your shampoo or deodorant has leaked again, you can quickly rinse the mesh in a sink or basin. The wash bags exterior is Nylon PU-coated and therefore extremely robust, easy to clean and water resistant. Advantage #2: our firm G-hook! Even brand wash bags often sport these cheap round hooks that come off with the slightest movement or push. As we are known for not doing things by halves, our in-house tailoring department has come up with a multi-purpose tarpaulin that can really be used universally, again and again and in all situations: under the car, on the beach, at the shooting range or even on the yoga lawn - no problem at all. The Nakatanenga tarp made from lorry tarpaulin is robust, practical and well thought-out. PVC-coated polyester fabric makes it extremely tear-resistant, waterproof and UV-resistant. Rustproof eyelets are used at the corners to allow fastening with straps or elasticated cords. This means that our universal tarpaulin can also quickly be used as a windscreen cover for the winter. It is guaranteed to be cleaned quickly after use under the oil pan or a baby's bottom when changing nappies. The flexible material can be rolled up small and stowed away to save space in the car, bag or rucksack. The drawstring straps are sewn in, as is the carry handle. So nothing gets lost.
