Sense and purpose of an awning compact extension? Glare protection when the sun is low in the skyThe compact extension was developed directly from practical requirements - a nice formulation that in itself means nothing more than: "We were so annoyed and dazzled by the low sun one fine day that we wanted to remedy the situation." And already the initial question is actually fully answered. But that would only be half the truth. On the following picture you can see an awning without extension shown above: As the sun sinks (the same applies in the morning, of course - but for the sake of clarity we will limit ourselves here to the afternoon or evening situation), the light falls further and further under the awning. At a certain position of the sun, the light/shadow dividing line reaches the eye level of a seated person - from now on, the sun can dazzle until it sets. The illustration below shows an awning with a compact extension, which offers several advantages with its angled bracing: When the sun is high, a much larger area is shaded.Only when the sun is setting, the light/shadow dividing line reaches the eye level of a seated person. Here, of course, deviations are possible, since both the slope of the guy, the size of the person and his sitting position are influencing factors. But the most important thing is: You can see what's going on in your surroundings despite the glare shield! If the eyes and the lower edge of the compact extension are on a horizontal plane, then the view would extend exactly to the (ideal) horizon. If you compare that with a moderately braced complete front part, where the view is just between a few centimetres to a few steps - what a difference! What if the sun comes in from the side?Well, then the vehicle will probably have to be moved. But not with our new compact extension. All you have to do is unhinge it from the front, and you can attach it to the side in just a few easy steps. Voilà!But please note: The awnings have a uniform depth of two meters, but differ in their widths. Ideally it hit here all those who have a 200er awning. Owners of a 250 have three options: They simply allow the extension to protrude when used from the side - utility over beauty. You opt for a 200 compact extension - this does not detract from the function. You buy two compact extensions at once - a 250 for the front and a 200 for the side. Feel free to guess what we recommend ;-) Material:Made from our sun sail and awning fabric, a 280 gsm RipStop Polycotton (65% polyester / 35% cotton), metal coated on one side; water and dirt repellent impregnated;due to the comparatively heavy quality, significantly less flutter. Colour: stone grey (taupe) Our compact extensions are also suitable for use on the awnings of most other manufacturers. The only requirement is a free keder strip in the front profile of the awning or such must be retrofitted.

Mobile parking heater with aluminum box, various versions Make way, here comes the second generation of our mobile parking heaters in a box! We have packed even more technology, even more experience and even more customer feedback into our new mobile heating boxes. If you are looking for a small, self-sufficient and portable heat source with unrivaled capacity for cold days and nights in unheated outdoor shelters or temporary accommodation, you get everything you need (or want) in a small, weatherproof aluminum box. Available in three modular versions with different configurations, the Nakatanenga heating box provides the perfect, independent heat source for tents, gazebos, garden sheds, mountain huts, snack stands, stalls and much more. The heart of the mobile parking heater is the Autoterm Luft 2D, a diesel-powered air heater with a maximum heat output of 1.8 kW and a diesel consumption of just under a quarter of a liter per hour at full power. With a tank capacity of 18 liters in the twin-tank version, this means that it can heat at full throttle for over 70 hours. The economical unit, which is also very quiet at 55 dB thanks to the exhaust silencer, is controlled by a digital control unit with timer in the version with two batteries and can also be switched on and off by radio remote control. This allows you to preheat your camper, roof tent, caravan or hunting lodge in good time for getting up or for the evening, for example, and operate it from the place where you are staying or sleeping inside*. In contrast to the previous models, the three versions of our mobile parking heater are now only available in one box size, namely 42 liters. This is significantly more compact than the old version in the large version and only slightly more voluminous than the small model from before. What is the advantage? The new universal crate has a modular interior with a powerful performance. Depending on whether you need tanks, batteries or both in the box, you can choose the appropriate version when purchasing: with 9.2 L single or 18.4 L double tank, each without battery, as well as with single tank, two batteries and digital control. However, it can also be easily retrofitted or converted if requirements change. This is made possible by elaborately designed brackets in the box and the use of specially manufactured, made-to-measure tanks. Features of heating box 1 and 2 (without battery) - USB interface for charging smartphone, power bank, tablet, etc.- Capacity display- PU5 control panel (without timer and storage options)- 12 V connection socket for supplied pole terminal cable- Alternatively, a cable for cigarette lighter (KMSH cable) can be used- 2 radio remote controls- Connection option for external temperature sensor (the connection is inside the box, not outside)” Features of heater box 3 (with 2 AGM batteries) - USB interface for charging smartphone, power bank, tablet, etc.- Capacity display- Comfort Control control panel (with timer and memory option)- SAE connection socket (suitable for Optimate chargers or Optimate solar charger)- 2 radio remote controls- Connection option for external temperature sensor (the connection is inside the box, not outside) Equipment of heating box 4 (with 1 LiFePo battery) - USB interface for charging smartphone, power bank, tablet etc.- Capacity display- Comfort Control control panel (with timer and memory option)- SAE connection socket (suitable for Optimate chargers or Optimate solar charger)- 2 radio remote controls- Connection option for external temperature sensor (the connection is inside the box, not outside)-> Please only use LiFePo-compatible chargers Equipment of heating box 5 (with 2 LiFePo batteries) - USB interface for charging smartphone, power bank, tablet, etc.- Capacity display- Comfort Control control panel (with timer and memory option)- SAE connection socket (suitable for Optimate chargers or Optimate solar charger)- 2 radio remote controls- Connection option for external temperature sensor (the connection is inside the box, not outside)”-> please only use LiFePo-compatible chargers The warm air is transported via a firmly screw-fastened, waterproof Flexi hose. As the warm air hose is different for every user and every requirement, we do not include a standard length, but leave it up to you to order the desired length separately here in the store, with or without a silicone sleeve. You can find the perfect storage bag for the Flexi hose here in the store. Regardless of the configuration, the mobile parking heaters are always easy to transport and make the difference between experiencing and suffering in the cold seasons. Whether it's an aurora safari, selling cookies at the Christmas market or winter camping in a roof tent, nothing is really fun if you freeze to death. *ATTENTION: As a precaution, we would like to point out that operation in closed rooms is not permitted due to the risk of poisoning from exhaust fumes. In addition, for optimum heating performance, make sure that the air inlets for combustion and hot air are positioned so that they are protected from the weather. Dimensions Internal dimensions 550x350x220 mm External dimensions 580x380x240 mm Empty weight: 2 tanks, without battery: 18 kg 1 tank, without battery: 16 kg 1 tank, 2 batteries: 36 kg Depending on how many starts are made, the battery lasts at least 40 h, but more likely between 60 and 70 h. LiFePo4 batteries - i.e. batteries with a lithium iron phosphate cathode - are the ideal supply batteries for camping or electrical work on the move. In contrast to conventional lead-acid AGM technology, lithium batteries combine superior charging properties with much lower weight and volume and a long service life. LiFePo4 batteries can be deep-discharged without any problems, which sooner or later leads to irreparable damage with AGM batteries, as the rule of thumb here is that you should never draw more than 50% charge. If you are not dependent on the greater cold tolerance of AGM batteries, you should definitely consider the higher costs for LiFePo4 batteries and compatible charging technology. The weight and space savings, the long service life and the uncomplicated discharging and charging of the battery are strong arguments in favor of the investment. What's more, LiFePo4 technology is also extremely safe And a special note on aluminum: Although we take the utmost care during storage and shipping, as with all our products, aluminum boxes can always show minimal scratches, stains, dents or other surface features upon delivery. These are material-related and result from the specific properties of the light metal. In contact with oxygen, aluminum forms a natural, corrosion-protecting patina and is also relatively soft compared to steel, which is three times heavier. This makes the material ideal for use in sheet metal, especially when weight and resistance are important. On the other hand, however, it also means that aluminum can never be completely free of patina or other marks, even on delivery: Small scratches, stains etc. therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint. Ultimately, aluminum boxes are intended to be robust objects of daily use. Like everything that is actively used, they develop an individual patina and every trace of use tells a story. So, have fun with it! If you want to heat the interior of your vehicle, we offer an installation service for warm air ducting through a ventilation plate. Please note the variants without batteries: Most portable power stations or battery boxes (such as Goal Zero, Eco Flow, Bluetti etc.) are unfortunately not suitable for operating mobile parking heaters. The heater requires up to 15A as starting current and when shutting down, but very few battery boxes can provide this. Suitable battery boxes for operating the mobile parking heater Please note the legal information on batteries HERE. For certain types of batteries, we are legally obliged to charge a deposit.

Thermo tent liner for Roof Lodge Evolution2 140 and 165 roof tent
Cozy, Warm, and Dry – Your Upgrade for Cool Nights in the Roof Lodge Evolution 2!
Do you love adventuring with your Roof Lodge Evolution 2 roof tent but don't want to sacrifice comfort in cooler temperatures or on damp nights? Then our thermo inner tent is just the thing for you!
More Warmth, Less Condensation – It's That Simple:
The principle is as simple as it is ingenious: just like with proven outdoor clothing, we rely on the layering principle. The additional inner tent creates an insulating air layer and noticeably improves the climate inside your roof tent.
- Pleasant Warmth: The quilted three-layer material, with polyester fibers on the outside and thermal fleece on the inside, retains heat much more effectively in the tent. This makes even cold nights comfortably warm.
- Reduced Condensation: The extra layer helps to minimize the formation of condensation inside your roof tent, ensuring a more pleasant and drier sleeping environment.
- Easy Installation: The inner tent is a perfect fit for your Roof Lodge Evolution 2 (available for widths 140cm and 165cm) and can be easily attached to the tent poles with clips and to the mattress with straps.
- Practical Details: The ventilation openings of the inner tent are aligned with the windows of the outer tent and, together with the robust YKK zippers, ensure good ventilation options.
- Additional Sound Insulation: As a pleasant side effect, the material also dampens external noise, ensuring a quieter night.
- Convenient: Your roof tent can be closed even with the thermo inner tent attached.
Make your Roof Lodge Evolution 2 even cozier with the thermo inner tent and extend your camping season! Get your upgrade now for maximum sleeping comfort, no matter where your next adventure takes you.
Note: The thermo inner tent is washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle.
Is the Nakatanenga thermal inner tent for Evolution 2 compatible with other roof tents?
The answer to this question can only be a resounding yes and no:

As you can clearly see, there are areas where the inner tent is slightly too large and there are areas where it is a little too short. This leads to it being raised at the sides and sagging slightly on the longitudinal axis. The fit is therefore not optimal for tents from other manufacturers, but we are talking about deviations in the order of just under 3cm (depending on the actual height of the poles).
To avoid any misunderstandings: The thermal inner tent does NOT have a floor, even if the above illustration might give this impression. However, it is fixed with elasticated straps under the corners of the mattress.
