Scheel-mann Sportline LR Edition – first-class seating comfort for the Land Rover Defender
The classic Land Rover Defender is renowned for many things – but exceptional seating comfort isn’t necessarily one of them as standard. The Scheel-mann Sportline LR Edition has been specially developed for the Defender’s unique space constraints and requirements, combining sporty lateral support with a high level of comfort on long journeys.
The pronounced side bolsters on the backrest provide secure support for the upper body – on winding roads as well as on rough tracks and off-road. At the same time, the side bolsters on the seat cushion have been deliberately kept flat. This makes it easier to get in and out of the tall Defender and ensures the seat is comfortable for everyday use.
Specially developed for the Defender
A key advantage of the LR Edition is the seat base, which can be folded forwards by approximately 90°. This ensures that access to the battery, on-board electronics and the storage compartments under the seats is maintained.
As the driver’s and front passenger’s seats in the Defender are positioned very close to the doors, the backrest release mechanism is located on the inside of each door. The shape of the adjustable headrest also blends harmoniously into the classic Defender interior.
Comfort you can feel on every journey
The continuously adjustable backrest allows for a personalised seating position. The pronounced contouring of the backrest stabilises the upper body, whilst the comparatively flat seat cushion offers sufficient freedom of movement.

- A suitable Defender seat console is required for installation. For the Defender 90 and 110 Hardtop, the bulkhead may need to be modified or shortened, depending on the vehicle and interior configuration.
