Like the side walls already included with the awning, the two additional tarpaulins are made of high-quality, PU-coated RipStop polycotton, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The functional fabric is extremely tear-resistant, water- and dirt-repellent and, due to its relatively high weight of 280 g/m2 , it also produces significantly less fluttering noise in the wind. It is aluminium-coated on the inside. This helps regulate heat and also ensures pleasant and effective use of existing light sources due to the diffusing reflection. The side tarpaulins are attached to the poles as required and can be lashed together. This means that when the awning is completely closed, there is hardly any surface for wind and weather to attack
