Folding saw with 18cm saw blade Few cultures know more about steel and wood than the Japanese. Small wonder then that Japanese saw designs have become very popular in the West. The foldable pruning saws by Spanish manufacturer Bellota are made in the Japanese tradition and feature a 7” (ca 18 cm) curved laminated steel blade and a triple-edge saw tooth design guaranteeing easy, quick and precise cutting. Precisely what you want for pruning your trees in the garden or for outdoor activities and bushcraft. When folded into the ergonomically shaped soft-touch handle, the tool is only about 23 cm long, with a width of 5.5 cm and a depth of 2.5 cm. The compact dimensions and the light weight of 220 g make this saw an ideal companion for camping, trekking, bushcraft & survival, hunting or other outdoor pursuits. If you only have space for one wood-cutting tool, this ninja-blade is the one for you. The folding saw is also available in a bundle with an axe with a 38cm wooden shaft and a Swiss pioneer pick in a matching bag.

Swiss Pioneer Pick with Bag It’s not only watches and pocket knives that the Swiss do really, really well, they also know a thing or two about cruder tools. This pickaxe for example is used by the Swiss army engineer corps and it’s both extremely well-made and versatile. You can use it for all kinds of outdoor activities, as off-road equipment and much more. The forged steel head offers a point and a flat blade for all kinds of digging work required in a camp, e.g. making a fire pit, digging rain trenches around your tent or cracking ice in winter. When compared to a foldable army spade, this traditional pick offers considerable advantages. Especially on very hard or stony ground, digging with a folding spade is often difficult or even impossible. The army spade’s folding hinges limit the force that can be exerted and they also tend to get damaged or worn-out. In contrast, the pickaxe’s simple design means that the physical force is concentrated on a very small area at the tip or the blade. That makes the pickaxe your tool of choice, especially when it comes to harder surfaces. And besides, most outdoor digging tasks don’t involve removing huge amounts of soil. In most cases, loosening and scraping will suffice and for that the Swiss army pick is ideal. With its length of roughly 30 cm for the head and 52 cm for the high-quality wooden shaft and its overall weight of only 1.3 kg approximately, this pickaxe is both easy to pack and to transport. A sturdy roll-up bag made from PU-coated nylon keeps the pick always neatly stowed and guarantees that your other equipment won’t get soiled or damaged. The pointy or sharp ends of the pick’s head are protected by a separate pouch. The roll-up bag is easy to clean and features Velcro strips and click buckles to secure it. A strong handle, finally, makes for easy carrying. Technical data: Pointed and flat hoe with wooden handle 2-part, dismountable Hoe length: 30cm Length of sieve: 52cm Net weight: 1,3 kg Material bag: Nylon PU-coated

Sense and purpose of an awning compact extension? Glare protection when the sun is low in the skyThe compact extension was developed directly from practical requirements - a nice formulation that in itself means nothing more than: "We were so annoyed and dazzled by the low sun one fine day that we wanted to remedy the situation." And already the initial question is actually fully answered. But that would only be half the truth. On the following picture you can see an awning without extension shown above: As the sun sinks (the same applies in the morning, of course - but for the sake of clarity we will limit ourselves here to the afternoon or evening situation), the light falls further and further under the awning. At a certain position of the sun, the light/shadow dividing line reaches the eye level of a seated person - from now on, the sun can dazzle until it sets. The illustration below shows an awning with a compact extension, which offers several advantages with its angled bracing: When the sun is high, a much larger area is shaded.Only when the sun is setting, the light/shadow dividing line reaches the eye level of a seated person. Here, of course, deviations are possible, since both the slope of the guy, the size of the person and his sitting position are influencing factors. But the most important thing is: You can see what's going on in your surroundings despite the glare shield! If the eyes and the lower edge of the compact extension are on a horizontal plane, then the view would extend exactly to the (ideal) horizon. If you compare that with a moderately braced complete front part, where the view is just between a few centimetres to a few steps - what a difference! What if the sun comes in from the side?Well, then the vehicle will probably have to be moved. But not with our new compact extension. All you have to do is unhinge it from the front, and you can attach it to the side in just a few easy steps. Voilà!But please note: The awnings have a uniform depth of two meters, but differ in their widths. Ideally it hit here all those who have a 200er awning. Owners of a 250 have three options: They simply allow the extension to protrude when used from the side - utility over beauty. You opt for a 200 compact extension - this does not detract from the function. You buy two compact extensions at once - a 250 for the front and a 200 for the side. Feel free to guess what we recommend ;-) Material:Made from our sun sail and awning fabric, a 280 gsm RipStop Polycotton (65% polyester / 35% cotton), metal coated on one side; water and dirt repellent impregnated;due to the comparatively heavy quality, significantly less flutter. Colour: stone grey (taupe) Our compact extensions are also suitable for use on the awnings of most other manufacturers. The only requirement is a free keder strip in the front profile of the awning or such must be retrofitted.

Aluminum telescopic upright poles 93-280 cm, black anodized
Every seasoned camper knows: there’s nothing more annoying than flimsy poles for tents, canvasses, awnings, tarps, etc. Whether it’s the setting up, the packing or simply the first strong breeze, there’s a lot of bother guaranteed when you’re stuck with basic multi-part poles, even when they feature small locking mechanisms or flexible cord connections. If you want to set up your camp efficiently, quickly and as stable as possible, our highly robust and practical telescopic poles made of high-strength, black anodized aluminum 6063 are the solution for you.
Our poles feature 4 telescopic expansions and can be locked to any length between 93 and 280 cm. This will work perfectly from small bivouac tarps to large awnings on camper vans. Needless to say, we paid special attention to the stability of the connectors - they are injection-molded from black ABS, a thermoplastic material that is extremely robust and resistant to temperature, chemicals and much more.
Last but not least, the deep black finish guarantees an extremely cool look, especially when compared to the usual silver-gray standard of other makes.
