Spare Wheel Bracket Cover Rear Door New Defender   If you’re driving your New Defender mostly short distance and in city traffic, you will most likely have thought about removing the enormous spare wheel from the cargo hold door. For one, it impedes your all-round view in dense traffic and when you’re parking it makes your already sizable Defender that much longer. So, if you decide to do without your spare wheel, we have an equally elegant and flexible solution for you to cover the wheel mount openings in the rear door. Two perfectly fitted black steel covers - available in smooth or tread plate – are simply screwed into the original mount holes, making your Defender’s rear look like nothing’s missing. Should you need your spare wheel re-installed for longer trips, removing the covers is a matter of minutes. Furthermore, if you wish to paint the covers in your vehicle’s color, it is a perfectly simple job for both paint professionals and DIY enthusiast. The black powder coating serves as a perfect primer layer. Unlike PVC, nylon PU (polyurethane) is free of harmful phthalate-based plasticisers. Until recently, low-molecular phthalates were the most common plasticisers for plastics of all kinds and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and are suspected of acting like endogenous hormones due to their molecular nature. This is highly questionable from a toxicological point of view and is considered to be a trigger for various diseases, including cancer. For Nakatanenga, it is therefore a matter of course to use only ecologically and health-safe alternatives such as nylon PU for the coating of textile products.
