Notebook bag for on the go Isn’t it great that certain things simply resist going digital? The good old notebook is such an item and it still does its job reliably and charmingly, in everyday life or when traveling. Our sturdy and stylish notebook organizers are perfect covers for DIN A5 or DIN A6 size notepads as well as documents, ID cards, car papers, hunting licenses and so much more. Sewn-in elastic bands hold pens and other utensils and there are also securely fastened loops inside and outside (for carabiners etc.) as well as a Velcro patch for even more functionality. Finally, a high-quality all-round zipper ensures that nothing gets lost on the go. The sleeves for DIN A5 and DIN A6 notepads are available in either gray coyote made from robust Cordura laminate or our very own CORLODA®, a gray, laminated loden fabric made from real wool. BIC Lighter Mini or Slim with Nakatanenga Cover A lighter should produce a flame quickly and reliably and under any circumstances, especially during outdoor activities. Gas lighters using a friction stone are your most reliable option, certainly when compared to those with a click mechanism, as these often jam or break. For many campers, backpackers or survival experts, the lighters of choice have long been the small and light MINI or SLIM editions from BIC. They are robust, ingeniously simple in design and always work - as long as there is some gas left in the tank. Our plastic cover with the Nakatanenga logo protects against accidental emptying (or ignition) of the lighters in your trouser pocket or backpack. Nakatanenga Muff for cosy, warm hands In the winter and on cold days in general, there are many occasions when gloves or mittens are not really practical because you need to use your hands off and on. This applies especially to activities where you keep still or move only slowly for longer periods of time, like winter sports events as a spectator, slow walks, visits to Christmas markets or aurora safaris in the far North. Or think about those outdoor pursuits that require the fine motor skills of your hands and fingers, as in hunting or ice fishing for example. The ideal place to warm your hands in these situations is not your coat pocket but a super warm and practical muff. Our muffs are manufactured in our very own textile shop from PU-coated nylon fabric. They sport an interior Polar Fleece lining and an intermediate wadding layer to create extremely efficient insulation that will warm your hands really quickly.  On both ends, we’ve sewn in drawstrings to prevent cold air entering through the openings. With a length of 42 cm and a diameter of roughly 13 cm, you can almost fit the whole length of your underarms into the muff. Holding it in place is a sturdy strap that can be adjusted for all sizes and positions. In addition, we’ve also attached a MOLLE fleece to the front, for patches and small accessories. This muff is the ideal winter companion for every man and – most of all – every woman!

The Nakatanenga backpack When product design becomes a matter of survival, as in military equipment, the principle of reduction applies to the maximum. The superfluous or useless is mercilessly sorted out and each part is charged with as many functions as possible. Therefore, it is never wrong to take tactical equipment as a model to make everyday products better. This is what we did with our new backpack and created an all-rounder, which is due to its practical properties as a Bug Out / Survival Bag as well as a daypack for school, university or work. Ergonomically, we paid attention to wearing comfort. Depending on the package, four adjustable straps ensure stability and comfort. Removable chest and waist straps reduce weight on the shoulders for greater stability when running, climbing or cycling. The mesh padding on the back is especially pleasant on longer tours. Due to the better ventilation, it reduces the sweat through the clothes. A variety of compartments and pockets with a total volume of about 17l provides maximum flexibility when stowing equipment or everyday objects. For long backpacking tours even a hydration can be used. The drinking tube can be passed through a specially designed opening on the handle. Straps on the straps and LaserCut MOLLE on the front and sides make it possible to individually attach additional packs and utensils such as our bottle holder. In design and execution, two things were important to us. On the one hand, the quality of materials and workmanship typical of Nakatanenga. A highlight here are YKK's inside-out zippers, which keep dust and water out. On the other hand, we also wanted to implement the tactical "Gray Man" principle with this backpack. The chic but simple unisex design with the gray main color attracts no unwanted attention.
