Leather is a natural product that shows signs of wear over time, e.g. abrasion, the material becomes brittle or the colour changes. Since the material is open-pored, hand perspiration and skin oils are gradually absorbed into the leather. But hand perspiration and skin oils are particularly aggressive on leather. To protect the steering wheel, you can either wear gloves or care for it regularly (approx. every 3 months).You can find good cleaning and care products in specialist shops.

Leather is a natural product and over time sings of wear can appear, eg. rubbed off areas, brittle areas, or a change in color. Since the material has open pores especially sweat and dirt from the hands tend to damage the steering wheel. Mainly, sweat is highly aggressive in contact with genuine leather.
