Dry, warm feet - the basis for health and performance in the field As an outfitter for Offroad and Outdoor activities, it is part of our job to think things through from the beginning to the end. And where do comfort and well-being start, if not with your feet? Exaggeration? Definitely not! It is a physiological fact that cold, wet or snowy conditions affect your hands and feet first. Once your feet are wet and unable to dry, unhealthy or even dangerous effects pile up: loss of body heat, skin and tissue damage can ensue. That's why you quickly catch a cold from having wet feet, even when the rest of your body stays dry. In extreme cold, that's why your toes will freeze first. In great heat on the other hand, it is cooling from condensation you're looking for. Again, breathability is key. And that's why we are now offering our own high performance Nakatanenga 63 % Merino-wool socks, with an intelligent blend of synthetic fiber. These mid-length socks in gray-coyote sport ergonomic padding and are meant for everyday activities. Whether outdoors or on the job, they are perfect inside hiking or work boots. Merino is a very light natural high performance fiber made by Mother Nature. It is very comfortable to wear, insulates well and achieves superior ventilation and moisture transport. No wonder Merino has become a benchmark for functional underwear and wicking layers. And since Merino is naturally anti-bacterial you can wear it much longer than other materials without having to worry about body odor. But nature alone doesn't quite do the trick. That's why we've added an intelligent mix of synthetic fiber to boost Merino's natural capabilities. Elastan makes the fabric more flexible and ensures less wear and tear from heavy use. A combination of synthetics woven into the material improves Merino's ability to wick away moisture even further. Your skin stays dry and sweat can evaporate much faster. Our Nakatanenga socks, with lots of Merino and intelligent synthetics, are Made in EU! Nakatanenga Merino Summer Socks low Merino wool is most commonly associated with functional underwear for winter sports, because its insulating properties are legendary. But Merino is also the perfect material for our light sneaker socks for the summer. The super sheep’s miracle fleece provides everything that a good air conditioning system does: it regulates temperature and gets rid of excess moisture. Merino not only warms but also cools in hot weather and that’s due to the micro structure of the ultra-fine curly fibers in the fleece. They absorb high amounts of moisture and release it quickly back to the air. Effective condensation thus cools your skin and leaves you with a pleasant feeling when wearing the socks. The experience of comfort and wellbeing is still increased by the fact that Merino wool doesn’t itch and that it smells less (and later) than other materials due to the fiber’s antibacterial properties. Specially selected high-performance synthetics turn the Nakatanenga sneaker sock into a proper athlete, because polypropylene, elastane und polyamide components in the fabric ensure that the natural wool doesn’t get too strained by rubbing, chafing and stretching, especially in the summer when there is high demand from activities like running or hiking. The synthetics reduce wear and tear and keep the socks elastic and in shape. With thin summer socks, the areas around the toes and the heel are especially vulnerable for chafing or rubbing through due to higher mechanical stress by your foot’s motion in the shoe. That’s why we have strengthened these zones with a soft plush fabric. If you like our three-season socks, you will love our sneaker socks for the summer. Material: 60% merino, 25% polypropylene, 10% elastane, 5% polyamide For hygienic reasons, this item is generally excluded from return.

The amount of praise and positive feedback we’ve received really knocked our socks off! We are talking about our light summer socks, of course. Designing new socks is a bit like re-inventing the wheel but it seems our textile studio has really hit the spot and developed the formula for a supersock: Merino wool, performance-synthetics and first-class craftsmanship. And since our short Nakasox are flying off the shelves, we’re immediately following them with higher crew socks. Off-roaders, outdoor types and people who still do an honest day’s work prefer boots. They appreciate the stability around the ankle and the protection when romping around in the field. But that comes with a price because wearing a boot requires a crew sock. If you don’t want to experience subsequent hot flashes and puddles of sweat when wearing boots in the summer, we recommend our lightweight, high shaft Merino crew socks for comfort and good stability. Merino is the perfect base layer for our socks because the supersheep’s fleece is nature’s air conditioning. It warms in the cold but also cools in hot weather and that’s due to the micro structure of the ultra-fine curly fibers in the fleece. They absorb high amounts of moisture and release it quickly back into the air. Specially selected high-performance synthetics turn the Nakatanenga sock into a proper athlete, because polypropylene, elastane und polyamide components in the fabric ensure that the natural wool doesn’t get too strained by rubbing, chafing and stretching, especially in the summer when there is high demand from activities like working or hiking. With thin summer socks, the areas around the toes and the heel are especially vulnerable for chafing or rubbing through due to higher mechanical stress created by your foot’s motion in the shoe. Warm winter socks with merino wool Winter is coming and our super-warm ¾-length Nakatanenga winter socks are the perfect preparation for cold, wet and action in snow and ice. There’s an endless discussion amongst athletes and outdoor specialists what’s more important, shoes or socks, but fact is that the right choice of socks is key to comfort, health and performance, especially in the cold season. What good are the best of boots when your socks are not warming you, stay constantly damp and clammy or rub and chafe? Our warm Nakasox for winter feature the same combination of natural Merino wool and synthetics as our lighter summer or 3-season socks. Especially in winter, thermal regulation is most important. Merino, the supersheep’s natural air conditioning system, does a fantastic job even during highly demanding activities like snowboarding or skiing. The fleece fibers’ microstructure allows for fast wicking of moisture and efficient condensation. Sweating is reduced and hence the dangers of hypothermia. The warm and dry Nakasox-feeling is further enhanced by the general comfort provided by the material’s touch and feel. Merino doesn’t itch and its antimicrobial properties also mean that your socks don’t smell as easily (or quickly) as with other materials. Especially when wearing them in boots or for sports activities, a perfect fit and elasticity are what you’re looking for in a sock. A special combination of performance synthetics and the anatomical design mean that Nakasox will stay in perfect shape even during and after heavy mechanical stress. Soles and heels are padded and a thinner weave between bridge and shin make vertical movements as in hiking or cross-country skiing more comfortable. Well-fitted and elastic socks don’t slip and slide and give your feet a better overall fit inside your boots. After long and action-packed days in the mountains, the probability that you’ll experience chafing and blisters is greatly reduced. Customer feedback is already telling us how extremely warm our Nakasox actually are. Men are by and large more tolerant to cold temperatures, making these Nakasox ideal for more stationary winter activities, like ice fishing. Women on the other hand will appreciate the super toasty socks in everyday situations like winter walks or even at home on the couch. Colors:grey-coyote Material:57 % Merino Wool, 27 % Polypropylene, 8 % Elastan, 8 % Polyamide For hygienic reasons, this item is generally excluded from return.

Hip Bag with many extras It’s not quite clear who invented the fanny pack or bum bag or whatever you want to call it. But in all likelihood, these hip bags can be traced back to the simple pouches skiers wore in the 1970ies. That would make a lot of sense because those neat little items beat every backpack and every other kind of bag when you are out and about without much equipment. Your hands are free and so is your back, giving you freedom of movement in all terrains and also preventing you from sweating through your shirt or jacket. Whether you’re hiking, jogging or walking your dog, our Tactical Bear hip bag supplies enough storage space to carry all your essentials with you. The same goes for bike and boat trips or even for outdoor work or hunting. You will never feel hampered or weighed down, whether you’re wearing the bag as a classic fanny pack around the hips or “gangsta style” diagonally across your chest. Its dimensions of 30x20x12 cm make our hip bag spacious enough for all your essential everyday items. Additionally, we made this pack as versatile and functional as real outdoorsmen and -women expect it to be. The “Tactical” in Tactical Bear is also a clue. Material and workmanship are extremely sturdy – whether it’s textiles like 100% Nylon, zippers, buckles, straps or the belt. As is standard with tactical gear, all components feature many additional functions: Velcro fleece, MOLLE mesh, pockets, rubber straps and an additional Velcro pocket compartment on the inside allow for individual customization, orderly organizing and quick access. Many clever details turn this Bear Pouch into a proper multi-tasker: There’s a loop sewn into the back so that you can put the bag neatly away on a hook once you’re done for the day. We also used lockable zipper sliders so that pickpockets don’t stand a chance when you’re travelling. In one corner of the bag is a small opening for charger cables, headphones and the like. A neat little trick: use it as a dog poop bag dispenser. When you’re walking your dog, push a corner of your dog waste bags through this slit and pull them out as you need them. As easy and comfortable as can be. Speaking of, for a comfy fit and good ventilation, there is an equally light and robust mesh layer on the back side. Underneath the mesh, we’ve integrated a HDPE plate (High Density Polyethylen). This keeps the bag in shape and prevents pointy items from poking you in the back, stomach or chest. The strong nylon belt can be extended up to a length of 1.60m to accommodate for the diagonal carrying style across the chest. If you wear the bag around the hips, simply roll up the loose ends and secure them with the sewn-in Velcro straps to prevent them from dangling or getting in the way. The versatile Tactical Bear hip bag comes in the colors coyote, M90 camouflage, black, MTP or gray-coyote.

Pillow and Organizer Bag Whatever the activity, whether it’s sports, swimming, camping or traveling, you always want to keep your stuff safe and clean: clothes, socks, sports gear, small equipment and many other things. The Nakatanenga Organizer and Pillow Bag will help you with all of that. Made from sturdy mesh fabric and featuring a robust zipper, it will keep all your things organized, secure and also ventilated. The latter aspect is especially important when it comes to wet, sweaty or dirty items. After all, the last thing you want to do is stuff them into bags or suitcases like that. Bad idea! Or into plastic bags. Even worse! Dimensions of 400 x 270 mm make our Organizer and Pillow Bag big enough for running shoes and all other items that you may require for your outdoor activities and don’t want to pack into non-breathable bags or stuff sacks. In the camp or in your vehicle, you can hang our Organizer/Pillow Bag from any hook, clip or line with its sewn-in loop. Strapped to a backpack or hung from a branch, the bag’s contents can breathe and dry out, even if it takes longer until you can wash them. This prevents smells and mildew. As always with our outdoor textiles, we are dedicated to provide quality workmanship and most of all to maximize additional functionality. That’s also why we are offering our Organizer Bags in four different, otherwise quite stylish color schemes: black, coyote, olive-camouflage and gray-coyote. In a family of four, for example, this makes it easy to give everyone their own immediately recognizable bag. If you require quick identification of your stuff in larger groups, in team sports or summer camps for instance, there’s also a Velcro patch for your name. Even in the dark, the fluorescent sticker makes finding your mesh bag a breeze. And in case you want to keep a lot of your own stuff separate but always handy, you can use several bags to color-code the contents: black for underwear, gray for socks etc. Like we said, get organized! Last but not least: If you need to watch your pack weight because of your hobby or sport or because you’re long-distance trekking, you can turn the Organizer Bag into a comfy pillow. Simply stuff a jacket or a fleece into it and enjoy the comfort of a nice head rest without worrying about additional weight or packing space. The light mesh fabric can easily be hand-washed or put into the machine at up to 60 degrees Celsius. Dimensions:400 x 270 mm Colors:Black, coyote, olive-camouflage und gray-coyote Material:Polyester/nylon mixed fabric Washable at 60°C

Dutch Oven The Dutch Oven, often referred to simply as a pot (sic), is available here together with a sturdy tripod, a pot stand and, of course, a lid lifter. Although the pot itself is available in three sizes, we only offer it as a set in the two most popular sizes. Of course, the tripod, the lid lifter and the pot stand can also be used with the pound pot (coincidentally also the name of a very popular Dutch Oven dish - but here we mean our 12-quart pot). The pots are also particularly suitable for induction cookers, as well as for all other types (ceramic, open fire, etc.). Please select the desired size.A practical tip from Harry:Tried and tested for travelling: one of the two sets offered here! You can also attach one of these beautiful enamelled percolators to the tripod for making coffee. But be careful! Not all percolators are suitable for this type of coffee preparation! And... the handle can get devilishly hot! Our lid lifter doesn't really help here either. But if anyone knows of a practical way of using the Dutch oven lid lifter with a percolator, please let me knowWhere were we again? Exactly! With our DO sets... ideal for travelling, but probably a little undersized for a garden party. So in itself it's perfectly adequate for a garden party, but not for a G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y!That's when you need our pound pot - and to supplement and round off the food base, you can always find a quick use for the smaller brother. And if you want to serve the much-quoted icing on the cake as a first aid against second hunger late at night: Take a piece of beef of your choice, it should be around 300-400 grams and nicely marbled, and it must be able to fit into the sizzle pan later (a flank steak is really tasty, but completely unsuitable for this), and put it in the oven set to around 55°C, but not immediately taken out of the fridge - preheating is superfluous, unless your G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y is taking place in the Arctic Circle. There, in the oven, it can then remain for a long, really long time, but of course not until the end of time. So don't overdo it! And the following really does apply to this preparation: don't add salt! Garlic, thyme and/or rosemary add a familiar flavour, sage and coriander a less familiar but very interesting one. When your guests' appetite for a savoury or tasty treat reawakens, simply let the Sizzel Pan heat up in the embers and then place the meat inside. 45-60 seconds per side is usually sufficient and a knob of good butter should not be missing. Allow the meat to rest for a few more minutes, then cut into slices and serve, then cut into slices and serve sprinkled with salt (flakes!) and freshly ground pepper. Make sure you try it: Lemon pepper! Further information: Our Dutch ovens can be used over an open fire, on the barbecue, on the hob and also in the kitchen oven. We have deliberately opted for pots without legs, as these can be stored in a more space-saving way and can also be used in the normal kitchen. Our pots are already baked so that you can prepare delicious food straight away.

The Nakatanenga backpack When product design becomes a matter of survival, as in military equipment, the principle of reduction applies to the maximum. The superfluous or useless is mercilessly sorted out and each part is charged with as many functions as possible. Therefore, it is never wrong to take tactical equipment as a model to make everyday products better. This is what we did with our new backpack and created an all-rounder, which is due to its practical properties as a Bug Out / Survival Bag as well as a daypack for school, university or work. Ergonomically, we paid attention to wearing comfort. Depending on the package, four adjustable straps ensure stability and comfort. Removable chest and waist straps reduce weight on the shoulders for greater stability when running, climbing or cycling. The mesh padding on the back is especially pleasant on longer tours. Due to the better ventilation, it reduces the sweat through the clothes. A variety of compartments and pockets with a total volume of about 17l provides maximum flexibility when stowing equipment or everyday objects. For long backpacking tours even a hydration can be used. The drinking tube can be passed through a specially designed opening on the handle. Straps on the straps and LaserCut MOLLE on the front and sides make it possible to individually attach additional packs and utensils such as our bottle holder. In design and execution, two things were important to us. On the one hand, the quality of materials and workmanship typical of Nakatanenga. A highlight here are YKK's inside-out zippers, which keep dust and water out. On the other hand, we also wanted to implement the tactical "Gray Man" principle with this backpack. The chic but simple unisex design with the gray main color attracts no unwanted attention. Whether in the safety-related job or on uncomfortable corners on holiday, with this backpack you disappear very easily and unrecognized in the gray, anonymous crowd. "Gray Man", an effective form of self-protection. Advantages: Robustness, durability and high quality workmanship Clear equipment Pleasant wearing comfort due to optimal padding The chest strap is designed to reduce pressure from the shoulders Ergonomic shoulder straps and waist belt are easy to adjust and adjust in length Many useful compartments / pockets for storing a variety of stuff Various attachment loops for attaching additional bags etc. Casual style and innovative, unique design For women as well as for men (unisex) Ideal for camping, hiking, shopping, cycling, school, university, ... Mesh helmet bag
Anyone who switches on their head for sports and outdoor hobbies wears a helmet. Whether you're cycling, rollerblading, kayaking, climbing, snowboarding or skiing, you can't go without a helmet. And this also applies when the helmet can be a bit of a nuisance during breaks or on the way to and from the sports centre due to its size and weight.
With our helmet bag, there is always a fixed place for your head protection. The robust mesh material guarantees ventilation and quick drying, and dust and dirt are no problem either, as the mesh is easy to wash. In principle, this makes our helmet bag just as good as a quick and clean all-purpose bag or wet bag for everything that gets wet and dirty during sport and leisure activities: Running shoes, swimming gear or football equipment. Everything that goes in is in good hands.
The mesh bag is pulled closed using a robust, sewn-in cord with stopper and can be attached to rucksacks, bags etc. using four clips with elasticated straps. The system is particularly suitable for our backpack with MOLLE system, for example. The clips can be flexibly inserted into the MOLLE slots on the rucksack, giving the helmet a fixed position and a firm hold. It does not always have to be carried in the hand and does not hang around on the chin strap, where it can easily get caught. The Nakatanenga helmet bag is practical and safe for all those who travel a lot for their hobby. And when the helmet is not in use, the mesh bag can be folded up to miniature size and secured with the attached Velcro loop.
Available in grey coyote and black.
