Nylon PU (polyurethanes) is, unlike PVC, free from harmful phthalate-based plasticizers. Low molecular weight phthalates were until recently the most common plasticizers for plastics of all kinds and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and are due to their molecular nature suspected of acting as the body's own hormones. This is toxicologically highly questionable and is considered the trigger for various diseases, including cancer. For Nakatanenga, it goes without saying that when it comes to coating textile products, it is only possible to use environmentally friendly and harmless alternatives such as nylon PU.

Dutch Oven Der Dutch Oven, häufig auch nur als Dopf (sic) bezeichnet, hier zusammen mit einem stabilen Dreibein, einem Topfständer und natürlich einem Deckelheber erhältlich. Der Dopf selbst ist zwar in drei Größen erhältlich, doch als Set bieten wir ihn nur in den beiden gängigeren Größen an. Selbstverständlich sind das Dreibein, der Deckelheber und der Topfständer auch mit dem Pfundstopf (zufälligerweise auch gleichzeitig die Bezeichnung eines sehr beliebten Dutch-Oven-Gerichts - hier aber gemeint: unser 12-Quart-Dopf) verwendbar. Besonders gut eignen sich die Töpfe auch für Induktionsherde, wie aber auch für alle anderen Arten (Ceran, offenes Feuer usw.). Bitte wählen Sie die gewünschte Größe. Ein Praxistipp von Harry:Bewährt für unterwegs: eines der beiden hier angebotenen Sets! An das Dreibein lässt sich auch einer dieser wunderschönen Emaillel-Perkolatoren zum Kaffeekochen hängen. Aber Achtung! Nicht alle Perkolatoren sind für diese Art der Kaffezubereitung geeignet! Und... der Griff kann teuflisch heiß werden! Da hilft dann auch unser Deckelheber nicht wirklich weiter. Sollte jetzt aber doch jemand eine praktikable Verwendungsmöglichkeit des Dutch-Oven-Deckelhebers mit einem Perkolator kennen, dann bitte unbedingt eine Info an mich Wo waren wir noch gleich? Genau! Bei unseren DO-Sets... ideal für unterwegs, aber wohl etwas unterdimensioniert für eine Gartenparty. Also an sich schon vollkommen ausreichend für eine Gartenparty, aber eben nicht für eine G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y ! Da braucht es dann schon unseren Pfundstopf - und zur Ergänzung und Abrundung der Essensgrundlage findet sich auch immer wieder ganz schnell Verwendung für den kleineren Bruder. Und wenn man dann noch zu späterer Stunde als erste Hilfe gegen den zweiten Hunger das vielzitierte I-Tüpfelchen kredenzen möchte: Nehmt ein Stückchen Rindfleisch eurer Wahl, es sollte so um die 300-400 Gramm haben und schön marmoriert sein, und es muss dann später auch noch in der Sizzel-Pan Platz finden können (ein Flank Steak ist zwar wirklich lecker, aber hierfür gänzlich ungeeignet), und schiebt es, aber nicht unmittelbar aus dem Kühlschrank genommen, in den auf ca. 55°C eingestellten Ofen - vorheizen ist überflüssig, es sei den, eure G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y findet am Polarkreis statt. Dort, also im Ofen, kann es dann lange, wirklich sehr lange, aber natürlich nicht bis Sankt Nimmerlein, verbleiben. Also nicht übertreiben! Und bei dieser Zubereitung gilt tatsächlich: Bloß nicht salzen! Knoblauch, Thymian und/oder Rosmarin geben ein bekanntes, Salbei und Koriander ein weniger gewohntes, aber sehr interessantes Aroma. Wenn dann bei den Gästen der Appetit auf ein Gutzel oder Leckerli wieder aufs neue erwacht, einfach die Sizzel Pan in der Glut aufheizen lassen und dann das Fleisch hineinlegen. 45-60 Sekunden pro Seite sind jetzt meist ausreichend und auch ein Stück der guten Butter sollte dabei nicht fehlen. Anschließend dem Fleisch noch ein paar Minuten Ruhe gönnen, dann in Tranchen schneiden und diese mit Salz(flocken!) und frisch gemahlenem Pfeffer bestreut servieren. Unbedingt ausprobieren: Zitronenpfeffer! Weitere Infos: Unsere Dutch Oven können im offenen Feuer, auf dem Grill, auf dem Herd und auch im Küchenofen verwendet werden.
