Cargo net for the classic Defender

The most underused space in the interior of any car is definitely the roof lining. Once you install one of our very clever and practical cargo nets, though, you can create an ideal stowing area especially for light and flat things.

The 102 x 76 cm sized mesh for the classic Defender (until MY 2016) can be mounted in various positions depending on the size or the configuration of your Landy. In a 110 for example, you can hang the net above the cargo hold (the third seat row, respectively) or even in the middle. Since the mesh can be accessed from the back and the front, this means that you can reach for your stuff from the driver’s or passenger’s seat. This is especially handy if you have a hard top, Camper conversion or any other two-seater.

Attaching the flexible cargo mesh to the roof lining is really easy. 14 straps and strap brackets are fixed to the lining with expanding rivets, giving you the previously mentioned option to create a custom positioning. Underneath the netting, you can also weave in the supplied 10.5 m long elastic cord. This zigzag rope creates a second easy-access tier for packing even lighter objects, blankets, jackets and many other items.

The cargo net for the old Defender comes in black, gray and coyote.
