On expedition, on holiday or just for an afternoon at the lake. The basic version of the roof awning comes with two side panels. If you want to turn the awning into an enclosed storage area that is protected on all sides, you can order the two additional side sections here.  Like the side walls already included with the awning, the two additional tarpaulins are made of high-quality, PU-coated RipStop polycotton, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The functional fabric is extremely tear-resistant, water- and dirt-repellent and, due to its relatively high weight of 280 g/m2 , it also produces significantly less fluttering noise in the wind. It is aluminium-coated on the inside. This helps regulate heat and also ensures pleasant and effective use of existing light sources due to the diffusing reflection. The side tarpaulins are attached to the poles as required and can be lashed together. This means that when the awning is completely closed, there is hardly any surface for wind and weather to attack

Windscreen cover Famously, there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad preparation, if we may extend the scope of the old saying. In any case, you’re well prepared for all sorts of situations if you carry one of our Nakatanenga multifunctional covers in your car. One side is covered in an insulating aluminum thermal foil, the other is made from PU coated, stepped nylon, making it a perfect multi-purpose cover. Especially when it’s cold or wet or both. The material is extremely robust, water-repellent and easy to clean. In winter, it makes the perfect windshield cover, especially for SUV’s or 4x4’s. With ample dimensions of 162 x 86 cm the mat features on the nylon side 6 firmly sewn-in d-rings made from sturdy plastic. You simply attach the included rubber straps, your own elastic cords and fasten them to mirrors or other structural features. The insulated aluminum side sports 5 cm wide and 20 cm long nylon straps that are meant to be trapped in the door frame. That way nothing will shift or be blown away by the wind overnight. In the morning everyone will appreciate a snow and ice-free windshield. The mat also does an excellent job at other times of the year or on other occasions. Re-usable Face Masks with Changeable Filters Made in Germany In the West, we can take a lot of inspiration from the East when it comes to preventing the spread of infections for oneself and others. In Asia, face masks are an integral part of everyday life. Often still frowned upon in our culture, the experience during the lockdown has made us more pragmatic, not the least due to recommendations by the Robert-Koch-Institute or various international medical associations. According to many experts, even simple home-made masks without FFP2/3 certification can significantly reduce the risk of becoming infected and, more importantly, to spread infections to others.The Nakatanenga face mask is extremely robust, reusable, made of mesh on the outside and a replaceable 3-layer filter layer on the inside. The mesh material of the mask wearer is normally used in rucksacks and many of our bags, so it is extremely resistant, but on its own without any protective effect. The fleece for the filter inserts comes from industry, but is free of chemical pollutants and does not put additional strain on the organism. The inner lining is made from original Coolmax®, usually applied in sports and outdoor clothes. Coolmax® is skin-friendly, fast drying and wicks away moisture. The anatomic fit and an adaptable rubber cord with a stopper make this mask very comfortable to wear, thereby increasing the protective effect.The mix of high-quality materials and the design based on expert recommendations lets us offer a long lived and robust mask for repeated use, made in EU. To ensure optimum efficiency, the mask should be worn for the maximum duration of one day. After that it should ideally be machine washed with regular detergent. Wash as often as possible. General opinion among medical professionals considers 60°C as sufficient, but you can also wash it at 90°C. Swap the changeable filters during the course of the day. CAUTION: do not use fabric softeners, as they can destroy the fleece’s filtering capacity. Do not tumble dry. We explicitly state that our face masks are NOT medical masks with certified protection against COVID19 and other pathogens. Dutch Oven The Dutch Oven, often referred to simply as a pot (sic), is available here together with a sturdy tripod, a pot stand and, of course, a lid lifter. Although the pot itself is available in three sizes, we only offer it as a set in the two most popular sizes. Of course, the tripod, the lid lifter and the pot stand can also be used with the pound pot (coincidentally also the name of a very popular Dutch Oven dish - but here we mean our 12-quart pot). The pots are also particularly suitable for induction cookers, as well as for all other types (ceramic, open fire, etc.). Please select the desired size.A practical tip from Harry:Tried and tested for travelling: one of the two sets offered here! You can also attach one of these beautiful enamelled percolators to the tripod for making coffee. But be careful! Not all percolators are suitable for this type of coffee preparation! And... the handle can get devilishly hot! Our lid lifter doesn't really help here either. But if anyone knows of a practical way of using the Dutch oven lid lifter with a percolator, please let me knowWhere were we again? Exactly! With our DO sets... ideal for travelling, but probably a little undersized for a garden party. So in itself it's perfectly adequate for a garden party, but not for a G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y!That's when you need our pound pot - and to supplement and round off the food base, you can always find a quick use for the smaller brother. And if you want to serve the much-quoted icing on the cake as a first aid against second hunger late at night: Take a piece of beef of your choice, it should be around 300-400 grams and nicely marbled, and it must be able to fit into the sizzle pan later (a flank steak is really tasty, but completely unsuitable for this), and put it in the oven set to around 55°C, but not immediately taken out of the fridge - preheating is superfluous, unless your G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y is taking place in the Arctic Circle.There, in the oven, it can then remain for a long, really long time, but of course not until the end of time. So don't overdo it! And the following really does apply to this preparation: don't add salt! Garlic, thyme and/or rosemary add a familiar flavour, sage and coriander a less familiar but very interesting one. When your guests' appetite for a savoury or tasty treat reawakens, simply let the Sizzel Pan heat up in the embers and then place the meat inside. 45-60 seconds per side is usually sufficient and a knob of good butter should not be missing. Allow the meat to rest for a few more minutes, then cut into slices and serve,  then cut into slices and serve sprinkled with salt (flakes!) and freshly ground pepper. Make sure you try it: Lemon pepper!   Further information:  Our Dutch ovens can be used over an open fire, on the barbecue, on the hob and also in the kitchen oven. We have deliberately opted for pots without legs, as these can be stored in a more space-saving way and can also be used in the normal kitchen. Our pots are already baked so that you can prepare delicious food straight away.

As a guide in choosing the appropriate for your purpose pot size should serve here one of the most popular Dutch Oven recipes: Layered Meat The 4.2 liter pot is suitable for layered meat, but not predestined. Its volume is sufficient for 4-7 servings. With the 8-liter pot you get enough for 16-20 people. With the 12-liter pot you prepare Schichtfleich for 23-27 people. He is the ideal party pot. The portion or person calculation is of course very much dependent on the chosen dish, of possible side dishes etc. our dutch oven are already branded! Please note: A lid lifter is NOT included! Triangle Dinner Bell  Who does not know that, in many Western movies to hear ringing to eat? These triangles create a clear, audible tone and are not just a ranch at the ready to assemble family members for dinner. You will be astonished how quickly your guests will react to the ringing of the bell with an increased salivation (to be found in Pavlov, the discoverer of the conditioned reflex).

Muurinpohjapannu at Nakatanenga? Something unspeakable in the company with the funny name ... But actually it is quite simple (as long as you do not have to pronounce it): Muurinpohjapannu is Finnish and means nothing more than - now it comes - frying pan. In fact, "this part" can be used like a frying pan; Almost everything that can be prepared in an ordinary pan can also be sizzle on this part. Well, it does not have a handle. This should make it a little difficult if you should try his pancake in the usual way. That may also be the reason that we are talking about a pancake and not a Muurinpohjapannukuchen - what I'm glad! Maybe you should, if you want to use this part properly, but rather every thought, any association to a pan and start again from the beginning. Grill plate or fire plate - that could work better. The thing just on the three screw-on legs (something that stands on three legs, that can never wobble!). Put directly into the campfire - or just next to it, depending on what you want to prepare. Completely easily different temperature zones are created, in which the most different food can be prepared. An example? Tortillas. Fry the meat in the hot region, move to a less hot region of the plate to roast, and fry the vegetables it tolerates. Then either heat the tortilla wrap on the vegetables or grill on the plate.
