OFF THE ROAD – Alles was Du unterwegs brauchst Vorfreude ist bekanntlich die schönste Freude und was gibt es schöneres als die nächste Offroad-Abenteuerreise zu planen, Karten zu studieren und Ausrüstung zusammenzustellen? Eine geniale Hilfe für alle Allrad-Aspiranten ist Michael Schelers Ausrüstungs-Guide: „OFF THE ROAD – Alles was Du unterwegs brauchst“. Tool roll wash small toiletry bag Our Nakatanenga Bear loves to scrub up and keeps everything neat, tidy and protected. That’s why we are introducing our own hanging wash bag with the bear logo on it, for travel, outdoor and camping. Everything else out there hasn’t really done it for us, so we made some key improvements to the most important details and put them all in one cool roll! Advantage #1 for our Nakatanenga toiletry bag: lots of mesh! We’re using great amounts of mesh material especially in the interior zip bag area, so that the wash roll can dry off quickly after you’ve been to a tiny wet room. If your shampoo or deodorant has leaked again, you can quickly rinse the mesh in a sink or basin. The wash bags exterior is Nylon PU-coated and therefore extremely robust, easy to clean and water resistant. Advantage #2: our firm G-hook! Even brand wash bags often sport these cheap round hooks that come off with the slightest movement or push. As a result, your personal hygiene items are too often scattered on less than appealing bathroom floors. Our G-hook closes the rolled-up wash bag tightly and you can also use it to hang the bag securely in windy or cramped places. We also enclose a hooked suction cup to firmly fix the bag to smooth surfaces like tiles or glass. Advantage #3: Roll it up! Roll beats bag, anytime, even when it comes to wash bags. Rolling up your gear minimizes the required storage space and holds everything tightly in place, thereby preventing damage to the bag or your hygiene articles by pointy or sharp objects within. When containers are firmly held together, they are also less likely to accidentally open up and spill the contents. There are two additional loops inside to hold your razor, toothbrush or similar. A water-resistant pocket keeps moisture sensitive items like band aids or medication dry and clean. Advantage #4: Velcro! Your mirror is kept in place by a Velcro patch. If you need to clean the mirror or use it in your hand, it’s easily taken off the bag. A second Velcro patch on the outside can be used for personalizing your wash roll. Just get one of our handy ID patches and write your name on it. No more accidental grabbing of someone else’s stuff. The Nakatanenga wash bag comes in grey/coyote, coyote, black, camouflage or orange with a camouflage multi torrent pattern. Nakatanenga Seat Pad You can always do better when it comes to comfort in the Great Outdoors and, hand on heart, is there anything more satisfying than making a home away from home for your family and loved ones? Camping and outdoor activities usually start tough and spartan but gradually you work your way back to comfort and coziness, especially when girlfriends, wives and daughters are part of the equation. And that’s where our comfortable, warm and highly practical seat covers come in. To be used on camping chairs, benches, tree stumps or even on the ground, you will get a lot more enjoyment out of your outdoor adventures and a lot less one-sided roasting around the campfire. Our Nakatanenga seat covers come in two varieties: one made with sustainable natural materials, the other with tough synthetics. Both cushion types are universal in their use, fold into a small bag and can be easily carried by their own handles. They have two distinct sides so that you can use them in different weather condition and surroundings just by flipping them over. One side is warm and comfy, the other one more robust, water-resistant and easy to clean. This makes these seat covers extremely versatile, not only for sitting but also as warm and protective ground covers for little ones or your furry friends. The natural material variety is an Anglo-Bavarian combo. One side is stepped waxed cotton, as made popular by Barbour jackets, the other side is high quality natural Loden. The waxed cotton is extremely water repellant and dirt resistant. The Loden side is first and foremost warm and comfy. Due to its natural and gentle manufacturing process, the Loden still contains enough natural Lanolin from the sheep’s wool to give this material a certain degree of water resistance. Friends of natural materials will therefore not object to the subtle scent of Lanolin. This is part of Loden like wood smoke belongs to a campfire. The synthetic version features a sturdy, water-resistant side with Nylon PU-coating and a comfy side made from Loden. Moreover, Nylon PU coating is extremely durable and completely free from harmful plastic softeners. Both cover varieties are held in place by an elastic band in the back. Additional Junkbag for your Tactical Messenger Bag With this extra bag you prevent the falling out of small parts from your Tactical Messenger Bag. Dimensions:about 14x22,5x4 cm Material:Bag: 100% nylon - PU coated And by the way: At Nakatanenga, we only use materials with 100% nylon PU coating for all textile articles. Nylon PU (polyurethanes) is, unlike PVC, free from harmful phthalate-based plasticizers. Low molecular weight phthalates were until recently the most common plasticizers for plastics of all kinds and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and are due to their molecular nature suspected of acting as the body's own hormones. This is toxicologically highly questionable and is considered the trigger for various diseases, including cancer. For Nakatanenga, it goes without saying that when it comes to coating textile products, it is only possible to use environmentally friendly and harmless alternatives such as nylon PU.

The Nakatanenga backpack When product design becomes a matter of survival, as in military equipment, the principle of reduction applies to the maximum. The superfluous or useless is mercilessly sorted out and each part is charged with as many functions as possible. Therefore, it is never wrong to take tactical equipment as a model to make everyday products better. This is what we did with our new backpack and created an all-rounder, which is due to its practical properties as a Bug Out / Survival Bag as well as a daypack for school, university or work. Ergonomically, we paid attention to wearing comfort. Depending on the package, four adjustable straps ensure stability and comfort. Removable chest and waist straps reduce weight on the shoulders for greater stability when running, climbing or cycling. The mesh padding on the back is especially pleasant on longer tours. Due to the better ventilation, it reduces the sweat through the clothes. A variety of compartments and pockets with a total volume of about 17l provides maximum flexibility when stowing equipment or everyday objects. For long backpacking tours even a hydration can be used. The drinking tube can be passed through a specially designed opening on the handle. Straps on the straps and LaserCut MOLLE on the front and sides make it possible to individually attach additional packs and utensils such as our bottle holder. In design and execution, two things were important to us. On the one hand, the quality of materials and workmanship typical of Nakatanenga. A highlight here are YKK's inside-out zippers, which keep dust and water out. On the other hand, we also wanted to implement the tactical "Gray Man" principle with this backpack. The chic but simple unisex design with the gray main color attracts no unwanted attention. Whether in the safety-related job or on uncomfortable corners on holiday, with this backpack you disappear very easily and unrecognized in the gray, anonymous crowd. "Gray Man", an effective form of self-protection. Advantages: Robustness, durability and high quality workmanship Clear equipment Pleasant wearing comfort due to optimal padding The chest strap is designed to reduce pressure from the shoulders Ergonomic shoulder straps and waist belt are easy to adjust and adjust in length Many useful compartments / pockets for storing a variety of stuff Various attachment loops for attaching additional bags etc. Casual style and innovative, unique design For women as well as for men (unisex) Ideal for camping, hiking, shopping, cycling, school, university, ... Dutch Oven The Dutch Oven, often referred to simply as a pot (sic), is available here together with a sturdy tripod, a pot stand and, of course, a lid lifter. Although the pot itself is available in three sizes, we only offer it as a set in the two most popular sizes. Of course, the tripod, the lid lifter and the pot stand can also be used with the pound pot (coincidentally also the name of a very popular Dutch Oven dish - but here we mean our 12-quart pot). The pots are also particularly suitable for induction cookers, as well as for all other types (ceramic, open fire, etc.). Please select the desired size.A practical tip from Harry:Tried and tested for travelling: one of the two sets offered here! You can also attach one of these beautiful enamelled percolators to the tripod for making coffee. But be careful! Not all percolators are suitable for this type of coffee preparation! And... the handle can get devilishly hot! Our lid lifter doesn't really help here either. But if anyone knows of a practical way of using the Dutch oven lid lifter with a percolator, please let me knowWhere were we again? Exactly! With our DO sets... ideal for travelling, but probably a little undersized for a garden party. So in itself it's perfectly adequate for a garden party, but not for a G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y!That's when you need our pound pot - and to supplement and round off the food base, you can always find a quick use for the smaller brother. And if you want to serve the much-quoted icing on the cake as a first aid against second hunger late at night: Take a piece of beef of your choice, it should be around 300-400 grams and nicely marbled, and it must be able to fit into the sizzle pan later (a flank steak is really tasty, but completely unsuitable for this), and put it in the oven set to around 55°C, but not immediately taken out of the fridge - preheating is superfluous, unless your G-A-R-T-E-N-P-A-R-T-Y is taking place in the Arctic Circle. There, in the oven, it can then remain for a long, really long time, but of course not until the end of time. So don't overdo it! And the following really does apply to this preparation: don't add salt! Garlic, thyme and/or rosemary add a familiar flavour, sage and coriander a less familiar but very interesting one. When your guests' appetite for a savoury or tasty treat reawakens, simply let the Sizzel Pan heat up in the embers and then place the meat inside. 45-60 seconds per side is usually sufficient and a knob of good butter should not be missing. Allow the meat to rest for a few more minutes, then cut into slices and serve, then cut into slices and serve sprinkled with salt (flakes!) and freshly ground pepper. Make sure you try it: Lemon pepper! Further information: Our Dutch ovens can be used over an open fire, on the barbecue, on the hob and also in the kitchen oven. We have deliberately opted for pots without legs, as these can be stored in a more space-saving way and can also be used in the normal kitchen. Our pots are already baked so that you can prepare delicious food straight away.
