AGM battery EK820 Exide

The AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery was developed by Exide together with the largest vehicle manufacturers for micro-hybrid vehicles in Europe. The AGM battery incorporates the most advanced technology for optimum performance under extreme cycle variations. It has both high charge acceptance and very good partial discharge characteristics. For micro-hybrid vehicles with start-stop systems and the regenerative braking system, these two properties are a necessary prerequisite.

You are obliged to dispose of all used batteries properly. We will take back your old battery on request. The return must be free of charge for us.

According to §10 of the Battery Act, anyone who puts starter batteries into circulation is obliged to charge a deposit of €7.50 including VAT, provided that an old battery is not returned at the same time as a new starter battery is purchased. You will receive this battery deposit back when you return the battery.

Your regional waste disposal company/recycling center will accept used batteries free of charge and dispose of them properly. Please also note the separate information on the Battery Act.
