Set of 5 self-adhesive anti-slip strips for round tubular ladders Rear ladders have two functions: they are designed to make access to a roof rack easier and safer. In terms of safety, especially ladders made from round steel bars, e.g. the ones for the Suzuki Jimny II, can be significantly improved. Our set of 5 self-adhesive anti-slip strips ensure that the steps remain safe when it’s wet or when wearing dirty shoes.    The adhesive strips are extremely robust and durable. With dimensions of 13.5 x 2.5 cm, they are specifically designed to fit the round ladder of the Jimny, but can also be used on other similarly sized steel bar components, of course.   Included: 5 strips 13.5 x 2.5 cm Color: Black   Important note: The strips do NOT fit on our own Jimny rear ladder (CGB2-SUJI2-LADDER), only on tubular ladders from other manufacturers.  

Rear ladder left, black powder-coated What makes a good rear ladder? It is sturdily constructed and allows safe and easy access to the roof rack in all weather conditions. That much is clear. A VERY good rear ladder, like the one from Terrafirma, also fits aerodynamically to the shape of the bodywork, minimizing fuel consumption and wind noise. In addition, the view of the rear lights remains unrestricted and opening the rear door is not impeded in any way. The Terrafirma rear ladder for the New Defender (from BJ2020) is made of 25 mm steel tubes and has non-slip perforated steps and a durable powder coating in elegant black.  Installation instructions and mounting materials are included.    

Anti-slip pad for Adventure 4x4 Rockslider, 1 pair These self-adhesive anti-slip pads with their precise fit are specially designed for the Adventure 4x4 rock sliders for Defender and Grenadier. The pads are perfectly matched to the sliders’ hole pattern and they improve the Rocksliders’ good anti-slip properties even further, especially in wet or dirty conditions. The 5.5 x 50 cm adhesive strips are supplied in pairs. The dimensions are matched to the door area, but with sufficient quantity and some adjustments it is also possible to cover the entire surface.

Self-adhesive anti-slip pads Perforated metal sheets, as used on our CargoBear roof racks, on ladders, steps and other climbing aids on vehicles, are much safer than regular metal surfaces. Additional anti-slip pads, however, offer an unbeatable safety advantage, especially in wet or dirty conditions. The anti-slip pads are designed to perfectly match the hole patterns and due to its black color, they also compliment the overall look of our products. The material for the pads originates in the sports sector and has been widely used on skateboards, for example. For our spare-wheel strap-on step, we offer ready-cut, self-adhesive anti-slip pads measuring 12 x 13.5 cm in twin packs. Since the pads are manufactured with in-house laser cutting technology, we can supply custom formats on request.  

Replacement rubber pad for the rear or side step of the Defender This cover protects your step so that you can enjoy it for a long time.  The tread protector has a tire tread pattern and is suitable for either the rear or side step (please select under “Variant”). Rear ladder suitable for Land Rover Defender 90/110 allows for easy access to roof rack. This ladder is supplied WITHOUT an additional rear step. This can be ordered separately. The ladder is produced for us from high-grade aluminium alloy and WIG welded, resulting in a very lightweight (1.8 kg only) and durable ladder. The steps feature an anti-slip design. Available with or without black powder coating. Please choose.

This rear ladder with additional step for rear crossmember fits Land Rover Defender 90/110 and allows easy access to the roof rack. This ladder is produced for us from high-grade aluminium alloy and TIG welded, resulting in a very lightweight (only 1.8 kg) and durable product. Steps are anti-slip. The ladder and the aluminum step are powder-coated in black.

CargoBear rear ladder for Mercedes G Even the best roof rack isn’t worth much, when you can’t access it quickly and safely – especially when we’re talking very tall 4x4s like the Mercedes G-Class. Depending on your vehicle specs and the roof rack, you may face a climb of well over two 2 meters with the G-wagon. This light but extremely sturdy aluminum ladder with its four steps features an angled design following the contours of the G-Class’ rear. The bottom of the ladder is wider than the top, making especially the descents much safer. A matte black powder-coated finish is as elegant as it is robust, even when you get a lot of use out of it. Our rear ladder for the G-Class fits the following models:• W460 (MY 79-92)• W461 (from MY 92)• W462 (ELBO version)• W463 (MY 1990 - 2018) The ladder is hooked into the rain gutter at the top and screwed in place; the following mounting options are available for the lower section:Standard mounting:Fastening with 3M double-sided adhesive tape.Optional mounting:Drill 2 holes and screw on with the two blind insert nuts.Installation for the G Professional:Screw the assembly to the existing screw points on the vehicle.

Rear ladder for Suzuki Jimny 2 type GJ BJ 2018 / HJ Boxier, tougher and even more capable, that’s the Suzuki Jimny 2 (GJ/HJ MY 2019). Even if cargo space has grown considerably in comparison with the previous model, optimizing your usable load capacity is still crucial if you want to get the most out of this little giant. Considering the limited interior that means first and foremost to use the roof space to the full extent: either with our own dedicated CargoBear system for the Jimny or any other conventional roof rails, bars or racks. Whatever solution you prefer, our light and strong aluminum ladder makes accessing the roof area a lot easier. Climbing to the rooftop is safer, more comfortable and allows for stress-free loading, fastening or strapping down of your cargo. The ladder is mounted on the tailgate only and has no connection with the roof or the rack, making it ideal for all kinds of carrier systems. Additionally, there is no need to drill holes either as the ladder is custom-designed to fit existing mounting points and screw holes: on the spare wheel mount, the tailgate’s drip rail and the bottom right door hinge. This also allows for quick and easy de-installation without damage or marks. The ladder is made from high-quality aluminum and features black powder coating – a perfect match for our modular CargoBear roof rack system.

Access to the roof of a car is usually something for climbing professionals - especially from the side. This applies to expedition-ready 4x4s with CargoBear-style system carriers that can be climbed by ladder, and especially to SUVs with ski racks or family vans with roof boxes. Often the vehicles are simply too high or the drivers too small or unathletic to get safe and easy side access to the roof load. They try to find a foothold on the seats by groping with their feet while holding on tightly with one hand to avoid tipping over backwards. Or you climb onto boxes or makeshift ladders and let the passenger support you, but who always has ladders or a passenger with them? What fits into the car in any case is our convenient and safe climbing aid for hanging into the body-side locking brackets of the door locks. The ladder replacement is hooked into the catch eye of the latch with a simple, fold-out hook. The pressure of the rubberised rear edge of the step surface on the B- or C-pillar results in an absolutely safe climbing aid under load that does not wobble or slip. This way, you can reach every side of the car roof safely and quickly without much effort. The locking brackets of the car doors have to withstand forces that are many times the weight of the human body so that the door does not open in the event of an accident or attempted break-in. The ladder itself is made of an extremely solid aluminium alloy and is designed to withstand 200 kg. This means that even large and heavy contemporaries need not worry. However, the first use should be carried out with caution and care in order to get the necessary safety when climbing. The step is covered with non-slip, grooved PVC and to ensure that the paintwork is not damaged, there is an additional rubber protector that can be attached to the edge of the step. By the way, if there is no more room for the foldable door step in the glove compartment or the centre shelf, you can leave the emergency hammer at home, because it has a steel tip at the front and thus also functions as a rescue tool for breaking windows.
