Nakatanenga Hi-Lift bracket for Land Rover Defender 110

A quality high-lift ratchet jack is hard to beat in all kinds of situations, whether it’s off-road recovery or specialized tool use. The jack functions as a portable winch, a spreading tool and in many other capacities. The only downside is the considerable length of 48”/122 cm. Since your Hi-Lift, JackAll and other similar products can’t be disassembled, they take up a lot of space and definitely won’t fit under your front seats where the small OEM jacks are usually stowed.

Fortunately, however, there are other seats in a Defender 110 station wagon. We have identified the unused space underneath your back seats as the perfect place for your 48“/122 cm Hi-Lift, Hi-Lift X-treme, JackAll and similar jacks. That puts the jack within easy reach when you need it and it’s fully out of the way when you don’t. Simply fold back the seat and access your Hi-Lift. Besides, your vehicle’s interior is also the best place to protect the gear from rust and dirt.

To prevent your jack from sliding, banging and rattling we have come up with a proper Nakatanenga solution: a high-grade steel mount fixed to the seat supports’ bearings. Two knurled nuts and four rubber pads hold the jack firmly in place and prevent any rattling. We are also adding one of our yellow transport locks to each mount to keep the jack’s handle fastened and rattle-free as well. 

Although the mount has been specifically designed to fit the Defender 110’s back seats, it can be fitted on any suitable surface, in Defenders or other 4x4s, inside the load area or outside on a roof rack for example.
