Repair plate rear tub, 3 pieces, Defender 110 Td4, Td5 and TDI

Rust does its evil deeds mostly in the dark, in all those nooks and crannies where permanent water exposure is common and moist dirt deposits accumulate. That’s why Defender 110 Station Wagons very often suffer corrosion hotspots underneath the backseat fittings or on the crossmember below. We now exclusively offer a set of customized repair panels that save you the effort of replacing the entire floor plate in the cargo space if your Landy has badly corroded in that problem zone underneath the back bench. The kit consists of the main panel, two side panels and a sufficient amount of rivets.

To install the repair panels (see slideshow) you first need to drill out the existing welding spots in the floor plate. Position the main panel correctly, apply auto seam sealer and clamp the part in place. After the sealer has dried, drill the repair plate to match the previously drilled out welding spots and rivet the panel. Repeat the process with the side plates.
