In an elaborate process the surface of these wheel nuts are made to appear black - they are neither painted nor coated, thus they are very durable and hard-wearing against mechanical or chemical strain.

The wheel nuts for Land Rover Defender can NOT be used with Borbet CW 8x16" rims! They can, however, be used with other light-alloy rims, like Hutchinson, Kahn, ZU and others.

Variant Land Rover Discovery 3/4 also fits aluminum rims for the Land Rover New Defender Type LE.
