BEAR ROPE Kinetic mountain rope KERR If you are frequently recovering off-road vehicles stuck in mud, dirt or sand, kinetic recovery ropes are the ultimate solution. The decisive advantage these elastic synthetic ropes have over more rigid traditional straps or plastic ropes is their ability to store kinetic energy from the towing vehicle. This stored energy can build in the elastic rope and is then transferred continuously and smoothly to the trapped vehicle. Primarily, there are two positive effects when recovering cars or 4x4s with kinetic ropes. The rope’s elasticity compensates for sudden load peaks when the towing vehicle inadvertently jerks forward or transfers sudden jolts of force to the rope. Mesh-Tragetasche für Bergeseile Diese robuste und leicht zu reinigende Netztasche aus Polyester-Mesh wurde in unserer Nakatanenga-Textilwerkstatt speziell für unser kinetisches Bergeseil entwickelt. Das große Kinto-Seil mit 8 m Länge und 24 mm Breite passt perfekt in diese 60 x 35 cm große Tasche. Aber natürlich eignet sich die Meshbag auch hervorragend für alles, was nass und schmutzig daherkommt: Also nicht nur für unsere Bergeseile, sondern auch für Sport- und Wanderschuhe, Regenkleidung, Trainingsausrüstung, Wassersport und vieles mehr. Mesh als Primärmaterial bedeutet dabei auch, dass das Handling um einiges angenehmer wird als bei herkömmlichen Taschen mit geschlossenen Materialien. Winch rope 10 mm x 30 m Steel or synthetics? With winch ropes that is often something of a religious question. However, the trend is now quite clearly to high-performance synthetic fibers, the steel in the ratio strength to weight are often superior and otherwise bring in handling many benefits.  The advantages of our 30 m synthetic rope compared to steel are manifold, but above all there are two main arguments: safety and weight. When steel cables break, heavy, sharp-edged metal lashes through the air uncontrollably, causing damage and the worst possible injuries. Should our new 2.3 kg light rope really reach the 9.5 t breaking load once, the ends will simply fall to the ground. Even when handling the steel cable, cuts caused by loose or broken wires are not uncommon, but excluded in synthetics. In addition, the much lighter Dyneem rope not only relieves the operator, the car also benefits in terms of statics and driving characteristics.
