Report on the suspension by Mr. Nüsseler: " As you can see on the picture in the attachment, I have installed the suspension in combination with Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac tyres (31x10.5 R15). Which, by the way, are highly recommended. The Wrangler is already firmer, which is a noticeable difference on the road in potholes or waves. However, it runs more smoothly in the curves and sits well on the road. Since I only use the Wrangler for short trips and also a bit off-road (dirt roads, forest, gravel pit), as well as in trailer operation, the additional ground clearance and the firmer set-up are definitely better. It also still compresses properly and allows sufficient articulation.

The track offset is about 6 mm per axle, so the axles are offset by about 12 mm relative to each other. We have adjusted the track as far as possible, but for a clean straight line and also in the curves, adjustable Panhard bars / transverse stabilisers would be useful. I will definitely retrofit these. A slight lowering of the transfer case could be beneficial as the rear propshaft develops slight noise at some speeds, but not really noticeable. A lowering is more for the reason of getting a little further into the uncritical tolerance range. In general, I am very satisfied with the chassis. The car is very easy to drive. The 40 mm is exactly the limit where the cut in the original geometries obviously does not yet lead to fundamentally worse handling on the road. "
