Advantages
The CargoBear Roof Rack system is the modular roof rack system developed by Nakatanenga. The carriers are exclusively manufactured entirely for us in Germany from an aluminium-magnesium alloy and then powder coated to the usual exacting Nakatanenga standard.
The rack can be completely dismantled and is infinitely flexible! The rack adds around 70 millimetres to the standard roof height of the Mercedes G and is one of the flattest roof racks on the market. Because of its integral lashing rails you can secure your load in a variety of different ways.
Each module is designed to hold 3 sheets of chequer-plates – but these are not obligatory. Whether you require a carrier for the full length of your Mercedes G or just a short platform, the CargoBear Roof Rack system is perfectly tuned to your needs. Furthermore, each part of the carrier can be ordered as a spare part – if it is damaged or because you want to build a custom solution.

Measured from the gutter, the Cargobear is approx. 19,5 cm high. On the roof it is approx. 5-6cm - depending on the roof, condition, year of construction etc.
