At home, while off-roading or on other Outdoor-Adventures – if you’re regularly facing bigger digs, you should be able to rely on a good quality shovel. The long Bellota spade/shovel combination combines the pointed blade and the D-grip of a jeep shovel – so called because it was part of the Willys Jeep standard equipment – with a longer handle.

This combination makes the Bellota a proper allrounder for shoveling loose dirt, gravel, sand or snow as well as digging into heavy soils or mud. The chosen materials and the ergonomic design allow for less laborious and more back-friendly work at home, on campsites or when off-roading.

The pointed Bellota-blades including collar are forged from one piece of heat-treated steel and are laminated for extreme strength and durability. The steps are big and robust enough to make digging into heavy soils really easy. The long hollow fiberglass handle is ergonomically superior, as it weighs less than a wooden one and is much more flexible. The extra-wide polypropylene soft-touch D-grip is another improvement for easier digging. In total, the 1.24 m long shovel weighs only little more than 2 kg.
