Nakatanenga climbing aid for spare wheel 2- or 3-stage
"Topless" is usually nothing with the off-roader. No matter how much you mount in the back, on the side, or on the hood, there is ultimately never enough space. The roofs from Landy & Co are therefore sought-after top locations that should also be used structurally: as roof storage for equipment or as a chic penthouse, for example if you own a roof tent.
A safe and comfortable ascent is often the problem. Where rear ladders make no sense or are not possible, there are two or three-step spare wheel steps as a practical climbing aid. The black powder-coated climbing aids with HiGrip corrugated sheet metal steps are lashed securely and non-slip to all common spare wheels using a belt with a NiRo ratchet, optionally on the left or right. Spare wheel covers have to be removed.
Which of the two step variants - two-stage fixed or three-stage folding - is best suited, you should decide depending on the vehicle height, the nature of the spare wheel mount and your own sportiness. The foldable three-step step brings the lowest step of the climbing aid in most cases well below hip height, which makes roof access more comfortable and safer.
The folding step for retrofitting the two-step step is also available separately and is attached with the locking bolt supplied.
Suitable for tyres up to 37"
