Who doesn't know them, the not really cheap 12 V extension cables and adapters from the DIY store? Usually quickly packed just before a trip, disillusionment soon sets in when devices do not work/charge properly due to wobbly plugs, fuses permanently blow because the cables are too thin or there is a short circuit due to moisture penetration.
