Tank-mounted fuel intake pipe The 60 cm tank-mounted fuel intake pipe is perfect for our diesel heaters by Autoterm, but will also suit most other products like Webasto or Eberspächer. It will work with both diesel and gasoline on either air or water heated systems and it doesn’t matter whether your tank is plastic or metal. To fit the intake pipe, it is generally necessary to remove the fuel tank and its fittings. After drilling a hole for the intake pipe, the connector head has to be countered with a nut from the inside. That’s why access to the tank’s interior through the intake opening is a must. The flexible riser pipe can be bent into any shape, making it easy to determine the extraction level for the heater. Make sure that the opening of the pipe doesn’t reach all the way to the bottom of the tank, otherwise you’ll risk complete emptying of your fuel tank and the unwanted intake of dirt particles or tank sludge. The tank extraction is ideally suited for our Planar parking heaters.

Our mounting plates for the side handles on the dashboard of the New Defender are designed to support heavy duty mounts – like those from market leader RAM Mounts. The plate’s tight hold makes sure that nothing wobbles, collapses or falls off. But most of all, there are no suction cups involved as they tend to come loose when off-roading or speeding along bumpy dirt roads.The mounting plate is powder-coated black to match the interior of the new Landy and you simply fasten it with the existing screws of the handle. No drilling is required and removal is as easy as installation. Der Adapter ist das i-Tüpfelchen für unsere Warmluftleitungen. Es ginge vielleicht auch ohne, aber besser ist eindeutig mit. Zum einen ist es sicherer für Mensch, Equipment oder Auto, weil Kanten, Fransen und Drahtenden des abgeschnittenen Rohres unter der Silikonhülle verschwinden und so keine Gelegenheit zum Kratzen, Piksen oder Reißen bekommen. Außerdem ist es sehr praktisch: Ein Ende des Silikon-Adapters wird mit einem der mitgelieferten Kabelbinder semi-permanent auf dem abgeschnittenen Rohr befestigt. Das andere Ende des Adapters kann dann mit der Ratschenschelle je nach Bedarf auf einem Anschluss oder einer Verlängerung festgezogen werden (ideal für unsere Standheizungen). Ohne die Ratsche ist der Silikonadapter, der das Rohr nur um 5 mm dicker macht, eine perfekte und ästhetisch ansprechende Endmanschette. The latter was added due to popular request and allows for setting and maintaining comfortable temperatures by individual degrees centigrade.
